Everyone can always use a little more memory. I am reviving Amanda's old laptop and have some new parts coming soon. The old memory will be getting a big boost and I will hopefully end up with a usable computer.
I have been trying to work a little bit on my macro shots. You will notice them occasionally interspersed in this 365 project. Macro shots are always really interesting to me and I really want to get better at them. If you have any tips are good resources I would love to hear about it.

Strobist
Canon 430 EXII and vivitar 285 HV on opposite sides of subject (4 o'clock and 8 o'clock) shooting through white paper for diffusion. Triggered with Yangnuo RF-602 triggers.
I linked a video of a performance I did of Storm's song, "Beautiful", and this was her comment back. I practically cried until I dehydrated myself after I saw this.

Dans les derniers jours, l'humeur des chrétiens qui attendent le retour du Seigneur Jésus devient plus intense. Mais, d'ailleurs, comment le Seigneur va-t-Il revenir, exactement ? Pour certains, le Seigneur Jésus viendra sur des nuées. Pour d'autres, les prophéties annonçant Son retour disent aussi que « Voici, je viens comme un voleur » (Apocalypse 16 : 15). « Mais il faut auparavant qu'il souffre beaucoup, et qu'il soit rejeté par cette génération » (Luc 17 : 25). « Au milieu de la nuit, on cria: Voici l'époux, allez à sa rencontre ! » (Matthieu 25 : 6). S'Il vient bel et bien sur des nuées à la vue de tous, comment peut-on expliquer le mystère de Sa venue en secret, de la souffrance et du rejet qu'Il endure, mais aussi de Ses paroles qui annoncent que les autres témoigneront de Son retour ? Comment le Seigneur nous apparaîtra-t-Il ? Le dialogue croisé intitulé « Comment le Seigneur vient-Il, exactement ? » tente de dissiper nos doutes sur cette question.

A derelict building just off the bottom of Albert Street. The Graffiti is all on the inside of the windows but has been written to appear correct when viewed from outside the building.
The photo was taken at street level and perspective shifted using Hugin (the bottom row of windows is actually the third floor of the building).

Early December we had a visit to Cognac, my favourite French restaurant. Myself, Rebekah, Lexi and Alice for Alice's birthday meal.
The food was amazing as it always is there!

I thought long and hard about the title for this one but this was the best I could come up with.
We stopped at Edinburgh on our return from Glencoe because my girls wanted to go to the zoo. With one of the worlds finest bridges just a stones throw from the hotel I couldn't resist paying a visit (or two). I'd missed the sunset because it coincided with our evening meal but there was still some reasonable light.

I went to see the one man show Buffy Revamped with my dear friend Simon. It was brilliant!
Buffy The Vampire Slayer remains one my my all-time favourite shows, and this was a hilarious take one it. I highly recommend going to see it if it's touring near you and you loved the TV show.
