Saturday night wasn't a late one, but we had a cracking night. Food at the Royal William IV on the waterfront, followed by a drink at the Skylight Lounge bar at the Hilton, then up the hill to the Strait And Narrow pub where we got talking to a lovely group with whom we hope to meet next time we're in Lincoln.
The Strait and Narrow is such a quirky place. It has phones all over and you can ring other phones in the pub and chat to random people!

My opinion is that that man of the match should be Mario Balotelli since he scored on and assisted two. Also flop of the match is the Swedish guy with the Bosnian name Salada, or Zalatan or something. The guy is wasting Inter's money and Jose Mourinho's time!

Defensive errors
The UEFA Champions League Group B game looked to be going with the form book as Mario Balotelli gave Inter an early lead, although a Nicolas Burdisso slip allowed Cedric Bardon to level. Marco Materazzi put Inter ahead again, but Georgios Panagi scored more by luck than judgement to equalise again before half-time and Nikolaos Frousos's goal five minutes into the second half seemed to have given Anorthosis a memorable victory. Cruz equalised with ten minutes remaining, however, and Inter had chances to win it in the closing minute although they nevertheless remain three points clear of Anorthosis at the top of the pool. The Italian side will qualify by defeating Panathinaikos FC in Milan on 26 November, when Anorthosis could also go through with victory here against Werder Bremen.
Tidy finish
Both teams showed attacking intent from the off, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's close-range effort being cleared in the second minute, and on 13 minutes Inter took the lead as Arian Beqaj parried the Swedish striker's blistering free-kick from long range, Balotelli reacting quickest to knock in the rebound. It was so good to be back in Lincoln for a weekend after missing it last year. We love Lincoln, it's such a beautiful city.
After the rams trail in Derby, in Lincn they had the Imps so over the weekend I got pics of them where I could. Lovely to see this around the place.

We had our annual September visit to Newcastle and had an amazing time once again! I just love that city, the people are so friendly and welcoming.
Day 2 we went for food at TGIs then on to Sgt Peppers and finally ended up in Rusty's where we met loads of lovely people as we always seem to do.

The Tree at Rockefeller Center is an annual Christmas tree lighting that takes place in New York City's Rockefeller Center.
In 2009, the tree was lit on December 2. It will remain illuminated until the first week of January, 2010

My social life is definitely back on track after a few weeks out! Gemma was up again in Hull and Friday night we once again went to Cognac French restaurant then on to Prince's Avenue.
I loved the dress I was wearing for the first time - I love the shoulder detail which gives it a very sci-fi feel!
What a great night. The fod was divine at Cognac. We took in a few bars on Prince's Avenue - although my favourite 80 Days was full so we couldn't get in there. Instead we went in Pave, Accomplice, Atom then back to Pave for a last drink.

we just burned through some time between the wedding party photos and the actual ceremony. the venue was probably one of the coolest wedding locations i've ever seen.

Sorry I've been very poor keeping my photostream up to date recently - I must make a concerted effort to catch up.
Pictures from February when some friends came to Hull and we went out round a few bars in Hull. We took in Monroe's, Zinnia, Unit 49 then on to the King Edward. A great night!
