My favourite cake colourscheme this year has been blue and white/siler, so it seemed only natural to finish the year with a midnight blue cake and shimmering white poinsettia!
I've had the veiners to make poinsettia flowers for a couple of years, but never the time to make one of these lovely but time-consuming flowers - this year I was determined to do it. I had very little time to decorate the family Xmas cake (the cake itself was made by my Mum when I was flat out in October), so thought a single statement flower would be the way to go.
Flower is made in cold porcelain rather than flower paste as I'm thinking that I might like to recycle it for a display cake further down the line...
The Sea Shepherd vessel MY Bob Barker is refuelling in Wellington. Not sure how long she'll be around, mid week or so according to comments on FB. She's welcome as far as I'm concerned but I'd rather know her back in the Southern Ocean :)
Like the sunshine yellow colourscheme, reminds me somehow of a Lemon Skittle!
Believe it or not, this beautiful machine was being used as part of a wedding, so congratulations to the lucky couple from me! ;D

Realising that I have no A340 album, here's one of the best current colourschemes in my opinion on Air Tahiti Nui, A340-300, F-OSEA departing LAX on 17/11/15.
This shot of Ian was taken in his flat in Westerhailes, Edinburgh. The 'colourscheme' within it was alarming - with graffiti on his own walls..
I met him when I worked in the Edinburgh Mail Centre - though, I'm told he no longer works there either.
He was happy to pose for me and my Mamiya RZ67 ProII. Apparently, I was the first person not to photograph him naked - his tattoos (his "armour", as he called it) extends from his shoulders downwards.. Each is in black only - but for a red heart on one leg.
The shot was taken with side lighting provided by a Sunpak 4500G 'hammerhead' flashgun.

Cargo engine resting over the weekend in Falun. In the background, the track to Grycksbro can be seen. This side branch is one of the few not-electrified lines in Sweden and was reactivated for occasional cargo paper traffic.
Nice and clear colour scheme!
Some oldies here, made during the Dakota Day at the Aviodrome aviation museum in Lelystad, The Netherlands on the 28th of may 2006. A fine collection of airworthy Dakota's visited the airfield.
SE-CFP was the Swedish contribution to this event and this is a Douglas C-47A with c/n 13883.
It is operated by the Flygande Veteraner and the livery is clearly an early SAS colourscheme.

The LL Gouw is a double-engine single-jet propelled spacecraft built by manufacturer WSM in comission for the Classic Space faction. It can seat a maximum of one pilot. It's aerodynamic shape allows it to reach speeds up to 4000/kmh whilst the fully transparent canopy allows for a 360 degrees scan of the pilot's surroundings. The spacecraft's weaponry consists of one front-mounted cannon hidden between the wing panels, although upgrades allow missiles to be attached to the side wings of the ship. The other ship's functions - these include but are not limited to automatically adjusting the seat rest, opening the canopy, turning on and off the forcefield to protect the engine bay from being attacked, and stabilizing the wings and front panels - are controlled using voice and visual commands, by linking the HUD feature of the ship to the visual functions of most common Space helmets (old style helmets will not be able to use critical features of the ship). The wings and thrust are controlled by a stick mounted in the front of the cockpit. This ship is ideal for aerial combat as it is manoeuvrable even at high speeds and has fast lock-on technology enabled for the front cannon, allowing the pilot to gun down enemies with ease if forced to engage in a dogfight. It is also an ideal solution for fast jet transport in general. Pricing starts at $20,000,000 for basic options. Weaponry upgrades such as missle packs and forcefield breaching lasers can be purchased from $100,000 onwards.
Whow, that took me a long time to write. Either way, here's my latest creation, the LL Gouw! It's a Neo Classic Space ship, which seems quite obvious. The name is a nod to my LUG, the LowLUG. I finished it a few weeks ago, but i didn't have the bubble canopy in Trans-Yellow, only in Trans-Black. To show my loyality to the Neo-Classic Space theme, i thoroughly resisted taking photographs until i retrieved it in the right colours! As some Eurobrickers know, i take the colourscheme _very_ serious, although there's some photos circulating with a Trans-Black canopy. Why? Well, as you may have noticed from the boatload of pictures i've recently uploaded, i recently attended my very first LUG meet! And i just HAD to bring the LL Gouw with me. I had already ordered a Trans-Yellow canopy from someone from the LUG, hoping he'd come to the meeting, but he didn't... and now there's about 3/4 people (including myself) that have taken some snaps of it with the old canopy. But here it finally is! I may aswell try and build some extra weapons for it... maybe. Don't quote me on it.
Enjoy!
The 1980s colourscheme gives a modern appearance to this 737, Britannia's 5th, but it was already 22 years old, having joined the company in May 1969. It is seen about to depart runway 08R at Gatwick in 1991.
1953 Hawker Fury Mk.II, Serial No. 37539, is owned by Anglia Aircraft Restorations Ltd and on the UK Civil Aircraft register as G-CBEL. It currently wears the markings of the 1945 first prototype Hawker Sea Fury for the Royal Navy, SR661 and is seen here being flown on a practice display at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford the day before the 2016 Flying Legends Air Display. The aircraft is powered by a Bristol Centaurus XVIII radial engine turning a Dowty Rotol R40/556/1 five bladed propeller. This aircraft was originally built as a Fury FB.10 for the Iraqi Air Force - Fury FB.10 ISS (Iraqi Single Seat). Subsequently it was imported to the USA as N36SF, then to the UK as G-CBEL. It then went to Australia in 2009 where it flew in a Royal Australian Navy scheme as '361' and was registered as VH-SFW, based at Moree in New South Wales. After being grounded for some time it was restored, flying again in April 2016, before returning to the UK in June 2016

My new favourite building is the hospital in Kalisz. I travelled especially to see it after seeing a picture of it on Flickr. The picture showed it as an all concrete structure.
As we drove towards it, I was disappointed to see that it had been clad in an orange to salmon colourscheme.
Once we got closer though, I realised how fantastic it looked.
Even better was being able to pass through a service tunnel to take these pictures from the inside.
