I love colour. I love it even more when it is bold and used in a unique colour scheme.
I drove by this house twice before I stopped. It's just one of those places where all the pieces fit together to make the ordinary become extraordinary.
Bold, brave, and beautiful. It totally stole my heart.
No photograph can do the riotous colours of these daisies justice - and I should know, I took enough of them. This was the best.

Succulents at Aldinga Beach,SA (CU). The beach is always challenging for plants (all that salt on with wind!) but these seem to do well.
Love the colours and colour combination of these succulents.

An Eremophila flower (pretty sure this is Eremophila longifolia), from near Burke, NSW, in close up.
This is a plant I know well from my childhood in the arid regions of Australia (they are described as "tolerant of harsh conditions" by the experts at Australian Plants Online). It's growth habit, in the arid areas at least, is as a small bush with relatively profuse flowers.
This particular Eremophila was also known as 'native honey suckle': it makes yummy nectar which you can suck off the ends of the flowers.

Glorious Christmas bush, Sydney Summer
One of my favourite plants and it flowers so beautifully around Christmas. Makes a lovely display in the bush, seen from the train on the way to Dangar Island.

Brauhaus Riegele Biergarten: definitely a work of art!

I caught the end of the January We <3 Role-Play and found these fantastic cyborg arms from Wicca’s Wardrobe – they come with a HUD that means you can retexture them to match whatever cyborg colourscheme you fancy. I immediately knew that they would go perfectly with these legs that I’d found from DRD – they come in so many different designs and I have a feeling I’ll be going back to buy the others very soon!

Two galahs, visiting, Gordon, NSW
I like their 'bookend' pose! These are my husband's favourite bird, and it's not just the colour scheme! The babies will deafen you though.
Galahs are parrots (scientific name Eolophus roseicapillus) and you can hear their call here, at www.birdsinbackyards.net/species/Eolophus-roseicapillus, where it is described as "a distinctive high-pitched screech, 'chi-chi'." The babies' 'feed me' call is much more raucous.

It's been sitting on my shelf looking all viper-y and stuff for almost two weeks, so it's about time I got it online. Enjoy.
Fairly simple SPACE from me, I like it. Nice simple colourscheme, with a touch of chrome thrown in. Gotta represent everyone's favourite benevolent space-petrol megacorporation. (I don't care what The Lego Movie says, my version of Octan aren't evil.)
Conceptually, it's very similar to my Octan GARC racer. Clean lines, clean and crisp colourschemes, fairly simple stuff. Which is nice. I really need to stop building Octan though, I don't want to overdo it. I try to keep it only for special things, like 120-stud long flying petrol stations.

Three favourite things from the Louvre: Ancient Egyptian colour scheme (3 of 3)
Not a very good picture but the colour scheme is there; also classic!
A bit of an obsession of mine, ever since I started work on ’Ancient Egyptian color plaid (limited palette) by Su_G': a design that began life as a color test for Ancient Egyptian colors - and then took on a life of its own! © Su Schaefer 2014
