One of the aircraft of the Pilatus PC-7 demonstration team (Team PC-7) of the Swiss Air Force. The PC-7 is a locally build Swiss trainer.

The Team PC-7 is part of the Pilotenrekrutenschule (Pilots' Recruitement School) where they learn the basics of flying.

After the PC-7 got his upgrade, a new colourscheme wil be added to the aircraft.

Built for Alitalia 747-243B N78020 first flew on 20th Feb 1971 and finished its career withdrawn at Las Vegas McCarran in March 1993. Here the twenty one year old machine pushes back from the south terminal at Gatwick on a cold morning in Jan 1992 with just over a year of flying left, but still looking smart in Continental's new (at the time) colourscheme.

A happy Colourscheme !!

Colourscheme is from the last owner, Alpine Travel's 'Schoolbus yellow' in North Wales. Another one to look out for maybe getting a new paint job.

this was my caravan for the day! a brilliant space in a brilliant spot if you ask me ;-)

you can watch what I did to a Zune in a separate set:

Zune hardware hacking at Mark goes to WAACS goes to camp

WAACS design & consultancy, from Rotterdam, invited me over to their out-of-office camping party. They arranged some Zunes from a client of theirs (now who would that be? ;-)) and asked me to have a go at them. This is how far I got in an afternoon.

It became this 'really social' Zune, in white because somehow they forgot that colourscheme (^_^), with an custom iTrip backpack so you can really share the music you're listening to with your friends. Zunes have a FM-receiver, so with this one Zune with a transmitter, everyone can join the party. I mean, you don’t want to be bothered with DRM-stuff and/or three-day-three-play-stuff while you’re out camping? At least I don’t. ^_^

Now, with more time on my hands and my own environment I guess it could have come out a little tighter and such, but considering the circumstances and the time frame, I guess this was pretty much the max I could get out of it.

It was a lovely day.

You can find the complete set of the day without the Zune overhere

Classic-Space colourscheme

The plain white colourscheme renders Renault Premium EU58NPN nearly invisible against the grey sky!

These are all dolls waiting on sealant spray, in varied stages of preparation.

Marisol, Lagoona, and Wydowna are ready to go as-is.

Honey needs another going over with acetone to remove her scalp paint, now that I know what her colourscheme will be.

Cupid, and Lagoonafire are ready--I just need to decide if I want Cupid's head back on her body, or if I want to put Dead Tired Spectra on instead.

Cleo is awaiting a new Howleen head (and Cleo's head the body), so I'm sanding her down in the meantime.

Skelita, Rochelle, and Toralei need to be wiped, and Lorna needs to be fully de-haired and wiped (she has the hardest chunk of glue in her head I've ever encountered).

Over the last week I've been working on the redesign and update of the Sandbach School's Sixth Form Website. The site is still a long way off being finished but I am very happy with the rapid progress that I have made in the last week. The groundwork for the site was done by a colleague who due to a change in position could no longer maintain the site. The Sixth Form Open Afternoon was scheduled for the Wednesday just gone and so SMT asked if I'd step in and do what I could prior to this to ensure that all the relevant information that potential students might require was accessible. The above pictures show how the site developed over 7 days.

What I've Done

Lucky for me the new school sites are built on Wordpress so I could hit the ground running. I stripped the website back to the very basics and updated some of the layout adding the Blueprint CSS Framework to simplify making amendments later on. With a now more semantic layout I could begin work on the look of the site.

The site has been kept simple using the colour scheme that my colleague had already put in place and the layout was built to draw the eye to the most important information on each page. Custom Fields, Meta Boxes and Custom Post Types were also set up to give control over where certain information appeared. Like on the schools main site I also added a drop down toolbar with the addition that on mine using a built in form the user can log directly into the schools online learning system.

The site is still evolving so any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
