Week 12.
Challenge: Focus
This week with the challenge being focus, what better way but to do a colour splash on my chosen photo. This week I took my challenge photo focused on a box of pencils, very simple, but I liked it.
This is, i think my first success Splash Photography done and shoot by me. im really happy with the results.
lightings: 580exII bounce straight on a green and red colour piece of paper on the right at 1/16.

Colour splash sunset over Shell Park in Greenwich, Sydney.
Nikon D810 & Nikkor 14-24mm, NiSi 6 stop filter. PP in PS CC using Nik Software and luminosity masks.
My photography skills, I've noticed, have been improving recently! This college work must be doing me well!
Here's a tip. Know what you plan to photograph before you go out and shoot! It will force you to think creatively and it will result in better quality photos.

With the Mon Calamari cruiser bridge completed, I immediately got the idea to use some specialised sand purple parts for some kind of engine room or engineering station within the ship. I think the sand purple makes for a nice colour splash and has a fitting "aquatic" vibe.
The bridge module can be stacked securely on top of the engine room to save some shelf space.
