I'm sure you can be more creative than this example, and emphasize something truly worth emphasizing! But that one Cheerio has some keen balancing power, doesn't it?

Colourizing
Over in the States, in Target, the lighting in Starbucks was dimmed. There was a bit of
depth of field, but not a lot, my shutter speed was 1/120, and the ISO 600 (a.k.a
automatic). I made these technical choices, well, it was sort of a preset when I turn on
my camera, and I was in a rush because my mother said it was time to go, and I had
already been taking a while at this point.
For post production on this photo, I colourized only the Starbucks logo, and B&W’d the
background in enhance and make the Starbucks sign stand out even more. Brightness,
exposure, hue and saturation were played with a bit, and the grey scale as well.
