A rare mono from me these days, but this image did not have the colour splash of autumn and as more focused on the leaning tree being nicely framed by the over hanging branches at my viewpoint. Taken at Whiteleaf Cross, Buckinghamshire.
Seen at our city's historic stately home in the glasshouse. They charge you for tours inside the house but it is little known you can wander the wonderful garden for free including the hothouse which yesterdays bad hair cactus lives in. Hope your day is warm but not too hot.
Just a wee pic taken while walking by some trees and I spotted this colour splash of orange which caught my attention among all the green. I thought it might make a nice picture so quickly snapped it...
The Walker’s bright purple jacket contrasted with a derelict pottery factory site as she strolled along the canal towpath.
Sunshine reflects off the surface of the canal up onto the roof arch of an old brick built bridge. The ripples make a pattern on the bricks under the arch illuminating the whole structure. Dimminsdale Wharf, Staffordshire, England.
Spring is here, and the daisies and cineraria flowers are adding a real splash of colour to the garden.
It was one of those mornings when the sky was set to put on a spectacular show at sunrise. I walked down to the beach in time to capture this explosion of colour splashed across the sky.
