Narrowboats moored up in readiness to partake in the 2nd day of the Historic Boat Rally in Braunston. It looks like the swan is heading out of here to avoid the chaos, but it is actually warning off a duck, protecting it`s cygnets, one of which is in view here.

A single crocus with its petals closed up tight for the night.
I went back the next evening hoping to reshoot the scene with some sunset colours in the sky but the skies remained grey and someone had picked the flower and left it on the bench. It was so pretty sitting alone in the field and yet some asshat had to ruin it!
