a Portuguese favorite, displayed at a market on Rua São José. At the time Portuguese adventurers were exploring the coast of Brazil (c. 1500), Portuguese fishermen ventured as far north and east as the coast of New Hampshire in search of cod.
COD Architecture students put their skills to the test this summer, designing, building and installing a gathering pavilion for the Community Education Fuel Garden and the Russell R. Kirt Prairie.

Apparently this cod is supposed to wiggle its tail when you put money into its mouth. I can't see it actually happening though since it appears to be solid.
