My first stop in Tromsø was Bengts Bistro, a restaurant recommended by the woman at the car rental agency. Thank heavens for Google Lens translation!
The server at the restaurant said that the cod and bacon (Torsk og bacon) was their most popular dish. It was yummy! It was cod with lots of bacon on mashed potatoes that were swimming in butter. (That's butter pooling on the plate.)

Approximately 1,500 community members attended College of DuPage’s STEMCON, a public outreach event designed to inspire and educate K-12 students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The all-day event featured more than 25 exhibits offering interactive, educational activities, including soldering a blankie, building a catapult, exploring archaeology, dissecting trees and tinkering with Edison Robots.
Project365 • Aug 10, 2009: My next door neighbor had gone fishing in Capitola, and gave me some fresh rock cod from his trip! As a result, I invited a few friends over for dinner. This is steamed rock cod, in the typical Asian-style sauce and scallions.

The Start point of the Lyke Wake Walk. The Lyke Wake Walk is a 40-mile (64 km) challenge walk across the highest and widest part of the North York Moors National Park in North Yorkshire, England. The route remembers the many corpses carried over the moors on old coffin routes and the ancient burial mounds encountered on the way; the name derives from a lyke, the corpse and the wake - watching over the deceased. Its associated club has a social structure, culture and rituals based on the walk and Christian and folklore traditions from the area through which it passes.
