Vreme infernala, cind toti oamenii se transforma in niste sopirle si cind reporterii de la posturile de stiri urla necontenit, asudind in fata fintinilor arteziene de la Universitate sau Unirea, "canicula, cod galben!".
Imi fac treburile incet, cumpatat, oricum miscarile mele si-au pierdut de vreo luna din vioiciune, chiar si cind dorm sint cu o ureche atenta la colocatarul meu care se foieste si-mi face semne. Citeodata, in semi-trezie, am impresia ca patul se misca sub mine, dar imi aduc repede aminte. Asa ceva nu se uita usor.
I-am spus lui F. azi ca ma apropii de o virsta ciudata si el m-a intrebat: "Nu-i asa ca timpul trece acum mult mai repede?". Stiu si eu ce sa raspund... Cel putin din martie a inceput sa zboare ca lumina pe fereastra. Altcineva m-a intrebat daca o sa scriu despre perioada asta. E aproape imposibil. Cel putin acum, pentru ca sint plina de emotii si naivitati si prostii. Mai tirziu insa, mai mult ca sigur o sa ma razbun pe slabiciunile mele.

College of DuPage students Annie Todor and Amira Abuarqoub were recently selected as recipients of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship at a reception on the College’s Glen Ellyn campus. The $2,000 award is offered to students with a 3.0 GPA or higher who plan to impact the lives of others based on Dr. King’s ideals .
