When I blew the candle out, the cocoa powder on the tiramisu went everywhere..

I found this recipe card on my way home today.

 

If you like Marshmallow Clouds this is how you make them........

  

3 c flour

2/3 cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 c white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 c salted butter

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla

2 c chocolate chips

8 oz mini marshmallows

 

It's a brownie... no, a banana bar... no, a Reeses bar... it's all of them! Smooth chocolate, crunchy peanuts and creamy bananas all meld into a delicious, sweet treat.

Medjool dates, almond, coconut, cocoa powder, coconut oil, ras el hanout, salt. Way better than Larabar.

This makes cracking toast. The combination of the molasses, cocoa powder and onion seeds really comes into its own when they're toasted and smothered in butter.

I've been told this looks like a moldy petri dish- but it was much tastier than a moldy petri dish. :-)

* On a side note, I seem to have gotten used to the British spelling "mouldy." Even though I just chose to use "moldy" instead, it looks really strange to me. I am becoming a conflicted speller.

blech, no inspiration today. so i threw some baking supplies on myself (flour, cocoa powder and cinnamon - plus sugar on my lips - to be exact). crappy night. tired. ugh. and thats it for now. good night.

 

not sure how i feel about this. might change it later...

The recipe simply had baking powder and soda and that alone made it raise and hold its shape, etc.

made from scratch basically, which is awesome!

 

its was a little dry though and I didnt have enough vanilla flavoring, so I need to find a way to make it more moist.

Dark chocolate-chipotle brownies. These little babies have a coupla teaspoons of ground chipotle powder that gives them a warm, pepper, smoky aftertaste. I LOVE them. Success.

Secret# 24 - I'm addicted to chocolate. I have to have at least one piece of chocolate every day. And because I'm trying to get healthier, I've had to cut it out quite a bit, but I still get my fix every day in the form of chocolate chips, hershey's kisses, or pudding paks.

  

(I was really behind in my 365 and my 30 secrets. I was still taking pictures, but wasn't able to upload them because I've just felt crazy busy in the last few days. I just started a new second job, plus the first job, plus my tattoo blog - which I'm behind in as well, and just usual life chaos. I'm hoping to hit my stride and be able to juggle all things, even though all I want to do is sleep.)
