Class 37/0 No.37080 at Shirebrook with 37209 on 9th October 1983.New to traffic as D6780 on 14th November 1962 at 50B Hull Dairycoates and withdrawn on 18th September 1996 and cut up on site at Cardiff by staff from M.R.J.Phillips of Llanelly in June 1997.

A pair of Buxton 37/5s passing New Mills South Junction signalbox, probably working the RMC empties from Hope Street to Peak Forest.

Class 37/0 No.37048 and 37080 at Shirebrook on 1st September 1985 on reballasting works.37048 started life as D6748 at 41A Sheffield Darnall on 10th August 1962 and withdrawn on 30th July 1999 and sold to HNRC who cut it up at Toton Training Compound on 15th April 2003.

With the sun lowering quickly, 37416 enters the passing loop at Rufford whilst hauling the Guild 'n' Docker rail tour between Preston and Ormskirk on Sat 19th November 2005. The train ran as 1Z55, the 05.55 Newport to Preston Docks (via Ormskirk!). 60042 was on the rear of the train to take it from Ormskirk to the Preston dock branch.

An unidentified 37 is seen near Peak Forest with a train of bogie limestone hoppers for Northwich in June 1982.

For many years these had been class 25 hauled, but with this class in decline things had moved to 37 power at this time.

37247 keeps company with 37214 and 31210 at Cardiff Canton depot on a mild Sat 31 October 1981. 37247 was renumbered to 37671 in July 1987 and spent a year working in France in 2000. It was withdrawn 12 months ago on 9th February 2011 and cut later that month.

Early in 1992 and into her third number carried, 37372 approaching Upton Pyne on the Barnstaple branch with a trainload of ballast, 17th February 1992. She had been most recently renumbered from 37159 after having been sat upon a set of re-geared CP7 bogies. Latterly she has become the basis for the Baby Deltic project. (t170-12f)

37125 heads through the centre road at Selby with a northbound mixed freight in September 1978.

Running about 15 minutes late, Rail Operations Group 37 800 Cassiopeia is diverted into the up goods loop at Hellifeild to allow a Carlisle to Leeds service to overtake. The 37 was hauling a Class 331 EMU from Blockpool N to Skipton CS.
