Ty Mawr Country Park near Wrexham has a couple of Llamas, Pedro and Carlos, not sure which one this is, but seems completely unaware of the growling English Electric Type 3's crossing the viaduct behind him.

Awesome name, awesome nameplates and a loco from my childhood days.
Thor is on standby duties at Carlisle an ex Thunderbird but still carrying out the same duties.
Our 6th venue of the day took us to Crabley Creek Crossing. Gav, Bruce and myself were chasing the North and East Yorkshire RHTT service. The weather had been atrocious and we had all had a thorough soaking at various places. Crabley Creek is in-between Broomfleet and Brough on the Hull to Leeds line and runs pretty much east to west. The forecast was for clearing skies at around sunset but first we had to endure more heavy rain. The 37s would pass our location three times, twice heading east and once heading west. This is the westbound run from Brough to Hatfield. The weather speaks for itself.
Follow the link above for the video of the event.

A quick dash up the road to make a rendezvous with 37688 before sundown. She was working the 5Z31 1347 Reading TC to Exeter Riverside where she would be staged before heading down to Penzance Longrock in the morning to pick up some old Mk3 slam door stock.
I pushed my luck with this shot, she was running 10 late and the light was fading fast.

37401 and 37402 head out of Selby over the old swing bridge and back towards Brough with the Yorkshire RHTT. A short spell of sunshine breaths colour into this classic location. For a chap from the west country this is a special spot and I make no excuses about sharing my take on this location.
