After crossing the resort town of Bromont, CP's sharp-looking business train charges west through Adamsville on its way to St. Luc yard from Jackman, ME.
Coucher de soleil sur la gare de triage du port de Rouen . On peut y voir les wagons de céréales qui attendent d' être vidés dans les silos de la SCAEL ( le port de Rouen collecte la plus grande part à l' export, des céréales beauceronnes ) , et, à gauche , les citernes destinées à ....Lubrizol . En effet Lubrizol ( la fameuse usine qui a explosé en 2019 ) , est située juste en face , de l' autre côté de la route !
One quiet evening along the tracks, again typical for the current days: dark, dry, not too cold.
Dry is relative though, as I got the car almost stuck in the mud getting here.
I was treated with 5 trains in a row: 4 from Zeebrugge, 1 from Ghent. All towards Germany and beyond. Here we see Lineas hauling a train with destination Milan, Italy. It looks well loaded, but impossible to say if it's the same for the end of the train.
Het verkeersbord voor de overweg suggereert dat er een door een elektrische locomotief getrokken sneltrein aan zal komen maar niets is minder waar. De oplettende toeschouwer kan voor de komst van de trein uiteraard zien dat de bovenleiding ontbreekt maar voor de onvoorbereide passant zal het een verassing zijn als de bedaagde motorwagen VT26 uit Bad Endorf naar Obing am See komt aantuffen. De motorwagen is door de Maschinenfabrik Augsburg Nürnberg in 1962 gebouwd voor de Bregtalbahn ( Donaueschingen – Furtwangen) van de Mittelbadische Eisenbahn Gesellschaft. Na opheffing van die lokaalspoorlijn werd het voertuig overgenomen door de SWEG (Süd Westdeutsche Eisenbahn Gesellschaft). In 2011 is de op twee eenassige wielstellen geplaatste motorwagen overgenomen door de Chiemgauer Lokalbahn voor inzet op de gereactiveerde lokaalspoorlijn.

Almost every evening, Crossrail runs a GTS container train from Zeebrugge Ramskapelle towards Switzerland. Last Sunday, this train was hauled by a BLS Cargo Vectron locomotive. It was enough reason for me to get out into the mud and night-shoot this train.

A tour in the port of Antwerp lead me to photograph a few container trains towards the Krommenhoek and Kalishoek yards. A very interesting one was this one from Railtraxx, with containers from - I presume - Athus and with destination Kalishoek. Railtraxx was renting "goldie" 266 117 at the time, which I was happy to catch when it was rounding one of the final turns before arriving at its destination.

Dit jeugdige en olijke tweetal vermaakt zich dolletjes. Die rails zijn ook uitermate multifunctioneel. Ze dienen als territoriumhekje, klimobject, evenwichtsbalk en koelmedium voor warme voetzooltjes. Bovendien zitten er diverse andere leuke speelkameraadjes langs de rails zoals slakken, muisjes en salamanders. Gevaarlijk is het niet want de motorwagen van Waizenkirchen naar Neumarkt-Kallham kondigt haar komst vroegtijdig en luid aan. Wanneer die gepasseerd is, is de spoorspeeltuin weer een uur open.

Dernier jour de ce mois de Juillet 2020, la belle BB 7399 assure l’intercités 4764 Marseille - Bordeaux. Le train est vu peu après Carcassonne après y avoir effectué son arrêt, de passage dans les vignes de Pennautier en début de soirée.

ack to Horna Stubna, to check what action can be expected next. THere was not much asking involved, as we saw this train running into the station. This is the train I came to Slovakia for: cement train 55721 from Lietavská Lúcka to Zemianske Kostolany, pulled by 3 Bardotka engines. Some people see a similarity between the locomotive's nose and Brigitte Bardot, hence the nickname.
