En Avril 2019, l’habituelle relation gazière assurée par RDT 13 en G2000 entre Miramas et Martigues est vue de passage à Port-de-Bouc en fin de matinée.
De nombreuses marchandises transitent chaque jour par le Port Fluvial de Lille. Dont une bonne partie qui est acheminée par le rail. Les convois, en provenance de divers terminaux Français sont acheminés jusqu’au triage de Lille Délivrance, situé à Lomme.
Pour pouvoir relier ce dernier jusqu’aux installations portuaires situées dans l’ouest lillois, il existe une voie unique non électrifiée de quelques kilomètres seulement. Ce sont alors des BB 400 de Captrain qui remontent la rame jusqu’à sa destination finale.
C’est l’un de ces convois qui est vu le 26 Mars dernier, à Loos à proximité de l’ancienne prison.
One of Railtraxx' many class 66 locomotives, in my opinion the most beautiful. On December 7 it was working in the port of Antwerp. We could make a picture of it while it was standing still at the Kruipin junction, waiting to continue it's journey from Kalishoek to Antwerpen-Noord.

The festivities weren’t over yet. A short walk led a bit closer to the tracks, with still another view on the magnificent background. Can’t get enough of it.

A completely new view, for a long time on my wishlist, and this day I finally got there. Clouds and sun were playing games, but I was able to make some nice sunny shots with the town of Sankt-Goarshausen in the background. This spot can easily be reached on foot. Just beware when parking the car during tourist season: the parkings at the Loreley site will be very busy.
Burg Katz in the background was built in 1393 and is now privately owned. It's name relates to burg Maus, in Wellmich, that can be seen on this picture www.flickr.com/photos/65238008@N03/7297555396/in/album-72....
