Today, I got up at 5:20 a.m. to participate in a tennis match. It's been over one year since I did before, mainly due to my arm and wrist problem.
Today's result was miserable, but there is one good thing. My wrist and arm were fine. I didn't get injured. Now it's time to reborn. I'll try to take part in tennis tournaments several times a year, and try to remember some of my play-style. Also I'll try to find some new play-style which is the best for my age.

Emboss resist is one of my all time fav techniques. The orange background was stamped with HA Wild Fairy Lily stamp...slightly tricky with all those stems. The HA watercolor sunflower is new to my collection-I love it. This long legged Decorative Bird was selected so he could reach the sunflower seeds...now that takes a little planning-LOL. Lots of thanks for this fun challenge!...Jan
Saturday 12th October 2019, on a damp day, these amazing groups rose to the challenge to raise money for the Royal Marines Charity and the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
The images are in the order taken, as I followed the obstacle part of the 5K Challenge and returned to the arena.
This weeks challenge was to take a photo of an everyday item from your home in a way that we might not all recognise what it is. This is a filament in a light bulb, I smashed the glass off and used all of my extension tubes with the 50mm.

The Aviation Challenge is an annual get together of regional schools/colleges maths/science year 12 students for an introduction to the world of aviation and a fun day of competition building gliders.
From as far north as Berwick to Richmond in the south and Darlington in the west, schools/colleges turned up in teams of 4 (+member of staff) to build a glider.
We hope these budding scientists may be inspired to join the BEng Aerospace programme and HNC/D Aeronautical Engineering programmes.
Technical delivery and hosted by Hartlepool College of Further Education; lunch and programme administration by the Advanced mathematics Support Programme; Prizes and materials costs covered by Teesside University.
