Skyline Challenge today in Martinborough. Stopped up here just long enough to take a pic on my phone and crack on again.
The challenge was to take a picture of water well we have loads of it , so took a pic of the North sea the little headland is at Pegwell Bay,it has suffered from cliff erosion but boulders have been put at the bottom and that appears to have halted the erosion process for the moment, behind can be seen the coast that goes down to Sandwich.
Apologies for early submission but won't be back online till tomorrow night.
My thanks to all who visit and comment

Can someone tell me why my metadata won't transfer when I upload a video?? I've tried changing the file type, but that hasn't worked.

Union Pacific #3985 - Cheyenne, Wyoming - May 27th, 1984.
"Union Pacific 3985, or UP 3985, is a four-cylinder simple articulated 4-6-6-4 Challenger-type steam locomotive owned and operated by Union Pacific Railroad in the Western United States. It was built in 1943 by the American Locomotive Company of Schenectady, New York. The locomotive is one of only two of the original 105 Union Pacific Challengers in existence, along with UP 3977, which is on static display in North Platte, Nebraska. Until it was placed in storage in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 2010, UP 3985 was the largest and heaviest operational preserved steam locomotive in the world." - Wikipedia

Star trails over Craigs Hut, Mount Stirling.
A cold night, but fantastic clear and dark skies in the Victorian High Country. Manipulating small buttons with gloves on proved a challenge at times, but the sheer number of stars visible more than made up for it.
This image is made from about 80 images stacked together to show the movement of the stars. The hut was lit with a small torch.

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated
This isn't a contest, there are no winners, this is a challenge, and you are all welcome to partake. In fact, I challenge you to.
I've come to realize there just aren't nearly enough sets of League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen figs on here, so I'm challenging all of you (even those of you I forgot to tag) to make them. Either purist or non-purist, comic-based or movie-based, it's up to you. Tag me, and I'll add them to an album (Or invite them all to a group if I can figure out how) that I'll build at some point.
To qualify, you've gotta have
-Mina Harker/Murray
-Alan Quatermain
-Doctor Jekyll and/or Mister Hyde (doesn't have to be a big-fig)
-Captain Nemo
-And The Invisible Man (gotta be a physical fig)
Dorian Grey and Tom Sawyer aren't essential, but you can make em if you want for extra credit.
Unfamiliar with the team? Familiarize yourself briefly with this handy wiki page! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_League_of_Extraordinary_Gentlemen
Any other questions you may have, sound em off.
UPDATE: NOW THERE IS A GROUP TO ADD YOUR PICS TO! www.flickr.com/groups/4035126@N22/
Cheers, everyone. I look forward to seeing what you all come up with!
For this 12 by 12 challenge I took a walk that I do at least once a day and usually with our dogs. It is a walk around the boundaries of our fields.

Been a while since I've shot any cars, had a little dry spell, but thankfully during that down time I had a lot of time on my hands to develop some new post processing techniques.
Shot info: SB-24 with red gei placed behind car shot at garage door at full power.

****STYLE BRIEFING****
You have always encouraged your best friend to pursue his acting and when he finally landed a role that launched his career he wanted to find a way to thank you for your support. He flew you out to Palm Spring where he met you at the airport with an RV and you headed to Coachella Valley with VIP tickets for the first weekend. Shame the weather didn't really turn nice yesterday... We're in summer in Australia and it's been awful, rainy and cloudy all the time. Not even fair :/
What do you think of this shot? I shot it in RAW, but I don't know if I actually like shooting in RAW. It's much easier shootings JPEGS, but everyone says shoot RAW with a DSLR?

Challenge #198: Water
She doesn't get that grin on her face playing video games. Before Addie does stuff like this, she always asks me, "Is it ok if I get wet and play in the water?" My answer is always yes. Kids these days have forgotten how to be kids. Let them play and have fun!
