This challenge is to Photograph your image in portrait orientation.
I have a lot of buldings around here and found them good for the challenge, I liked the different colour brickwork and the fact that this house had 2 styles of chimney pots and a television arial!

This M.I.T sweatshirt is something I can date back to at least the age of 15. It is pretty battered and holey. It has all kind of stains, including one from a pretty bad nose bleed I had when I was in college.
I focused a lot of my energy as a young adult on getting into a really good college, but then changed mymind...
This is the descendant of a Harvard sweatshirt I had that belonged to a friend of mine who passed away. It was stolen from my workplace when I was 14, so I decided to replace it with M.I.T. I was probably watching a little bit too much Good Will Hunting at the time.
It's very comfy, and this challenge is a good excuse to wear it today.

Number 341 of my 365 photo challenge - A cross-processed and split-toned, long exposure, urban image of rush hour traffic on the M90 near Perth, Scotland.
Week#123 - Before & After - I love reflections. This was taken at McLaren's Falls in Tauranga awhile back while shooting fall/autumn photos and I have used the resulting photo in another recent challenge. I obviously turned the photo upside down first then I worked in PSE15 using the b&w newspaper treatment and posterized it to enhance it in order to create an illusion, which is always such fun for me. I do like to simply create, when I have the time!!
When I saw this man I felt that he has been through many years of hard work and problems, his eyes were full of sadness and dispair, too sad to even cry.
He was in Souq Wagef looking for people who want their bags to be carried so they tip him. I felt very heart broken and it made me realize how privileged many of us are and all the things we have we take for granted.

This show of Military Odyssey celebrates it’s 17th year, with groups covering a vast period of global history.
This was an ideal opportunity to capture some vintage images for our groups October printed challenge.
This is typical of a rural police station set up for the WW2 duration and into the post war years.
They are a challenge for aspiring macro-photographers, so I had to have one. With some patience you’ll find them on a leaf somewhere not to wet. And then the real challenge begins, finding one that stays in focus. A great sport I thought.

"Bell" challenge
Scratte is a seductive female saber-toothed flying squirrel that makes her debut in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. She is seen in the second trailer with Scrat battling with her for the acorn by propelling themselves down a gorge to reach the fallen acorn, and succeeding. Scratte is also seen as a love interest for Scrat.

When Traci rang the doorbell holding onto an almost unconscious Cannon, I was alarmed and worried. I said, "What's going on, Traci?" Turns out Cannon was still groggy with anesthesia after having his wisdom teeth surgically removed. The surgeon gave instructions of how to take care of him. He was loopy for a while but then started to come out of it. These are the "Unexpected Moments" I'm not crazy about. Was nice to have his mother around to take care of him!
Came across this team recently, so I thought I'd take a quick photo of the group! It's such a weird group, but the more I think about it the more it really works out!

"Moet je nou kijken ... heb je de camera bij de hand?", hoor ik roepen. Het Kielerkanaal - dat 100 km lange gegraven water tussen Noordzee en Oostzee- is een route die overheerst wordt door grote scheepvaart. De grootste verrassing van een lange motordag was wel een heel bijzonder voorval. Op klaarlichte dag besloot dit jonge reebokje zijn geluk aan de overkant van het water te zoeken. Met van links en rechts naderende grote en minder grote scheepvaart zwom hij over. We zagen hem nog net veilig de kant op gaan en weg was hij ... het bos in.

Our Daily Challenge ... homonyms
This little fellow is a regular visitor. He sits on the fence, constantly looking around. When he spots an insect he dives on it and returns to the fence. I love the way the wind was ruffling his feathers today.
The Willie Wagtail is an Australian fantail. The plumage is black above with a white belly.It can be distinguished from other similar-sized black and white birds by its black throat and white eyebrows and whisker marks. The name wagtail stems from the constant sideways wagging of the tail.
They are active feeders. and can be seen darting around lawns as they hunt for insects on the ground. As they do so, the tail is wagged from side to side. Insects are also captured in the air, in active chases.
They are feisty little birds and will chase off much larger birds who impinge on their territory but they are very tolerant of people. I was able to take lots of shots of this one as it hunted for insects this afternoon.
An interesting, longer story about Willy Wagtail can be found in Aboriginal folklore if you are interested in reading it.

Thought I'd challenge myself to some macro photography during lockdown and whilst the hibiscus flowers are still looking so stunning in the garden.
For TGW and the Monthly Contest
Britannia felt her status as Most Powerful Armor in the World was slipping, so her designers hit the drawing board.
The Challenger features a 125mm Smoothbore main cannon. Loading is mechanically aided, and a stabilization feature allows for firing on the move.
Her secondary weapon is a .50 Caliber HMG on a flex mount with blast shield.
350mm sloped armor provides a solid defense from all but the heaviest calibers, and with the onset of rockets the turret roof has been armored as well.
Twin Diesel Turbines power the Challenger up to 40mph on road, 33mph off road with a max range of 300 miles before refueling. The optional fuel drums increase that to 530 miles while providing a possible explosive mounted to the turret.
Diesel turbines were chosen for their increased fuel efficiency, as well as their lower exhaust temperatures, which not only lowers their standout on thermal based optics, but it allows troops to use the rear of the tank as cover without exhaust burns.
The access hatches on the armor skirt allow quick repairs while keeping defense high.
And the over all slimmer profile from the Epitome provides a smaller target at range.
Finally, internal storage is provided for all 4 crew members to carry Roscram rifles.

Second Car I've ever built (not counting chibis), and the first real car. The back's pretty lame, but I like how to rest turned out.
