PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY, California -- 229th Military Intelligence Battalion Soldiers competed in the Warrior Challenge at the Price Fitness Center field May 2. The grueling team competition challenged Soldiers' physical fitness and their ability to work in teams -- as they competed in a series of seven endurance events. The Echo-HHC joint team came out on top with the coveted Commander's Cup presented by 229th Commander Lt. Col Toni Sabo.

I wanted two moments to happen at once, like those seen in long exposure shots of dawn or dusk. In this case it's sunset and night with the ship serving as a border between the two. The gray clouds from the original photo became white here by turning the photo to a negative in Ps. The rest are layers.

Another great turnout for this the 3rd Xborder Challenge run from Gretna to Carlisle, it got quite hot as we neared the finish but was still pleased with time sub 40 .

Things that remind us of the sea!
The nearest part of the coast is 90 miles away from where I live. But I have a few pebbles around the garden pond. A very small pebble beach:)
Spangdahlem participated in the 1st Mosel Firefighter Combat Challenge at Ediger-Eller, Germany, July 5-6.
Ok So I thought I'd make a fun game for us! Look at my favorites and:
1) describe the kind of person you think I am
2) name three things I seem to be obsessed with
3) 5 celebrities I'm crushin on
4) the reason why I would be in jail hypothetically. lol I dunno about this last one, it's random cuz it's very late and I have to wait up for my nail polish to dry. XD
This was interesting. Have about 50 shots using different F stops and ISO's. Wood is tricky.
Hope all these shades count for the challenge.
