Well, of course I think my kids are all pretty amazing! :) ... so for this challenge I did a layout for each of them talking about why they are all so amazing to me.
This is my son Chris and he is amazing because he is SO unselfish at such a young age and has such a zest for life, enjoying the little things.
The large picture is actually on a card that opens up and has a hidden note to him about why I think he's so amazing.
HA stamps used:
CD 'Thoughtful Messages'
CD 'Messages'
CD 'Share Laughter'
Sparkle Clear 'Home'
Design Block Stencil
HA black gems
The 'You Are Amazing' is a rub-on that until this week I wasn't sure what I was going to do with. :)

For this first challenge I decided to stay as close to the original as I could. I used daylight to light the scene and wanted to use the same highlights that Lara had used. My bread is different and the color of the nutella and board are also not exactly the same, but overall I am quite pleased with the end-result!
I am not sure if the original was done with daylight or artificial light, but overall it was a pretty even lighting with two highlights to bring out the structure of the nutella. I saw a highlight on the left as well as on the right. Possibly by mirrors or other reflection material. I used a reflector on the right and the window was on the left. I think the original highlights are a little bit more pronounced but I quite liked the shine the paste has right now, so I left it at that.

The first pictures and full details of the all-new Ferrari 296 Challenge racer have been released ahead of its October 23 debut.
Said to be the ninth model to race in the single-make series, the new Ferrari 296 Challenge contender gains redesigned, track-focused aerodynamics and a simplified version of the road-going supercar’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 that still manages to muster 515kW.
Headline features include a more pronounced front splitter bolted onto the redesigned bumper, a vented bonnet, lighter Lexan windows, new side skirts, an F1-style rain light, a huge rear wing and 19-inch centre-lock wheels with stickier Pirelli race tyres.
There’s also a set of carbon-ceramic brake discs and adjustable ABS EVO Track electronics that’s thought to incorporate traction control.
The combination of the extra wings, larger diffuser and reshaped body sees the 296 Challenge produce more than 870kg of downforce at 250km/h.
Under the rear bonnet, the Ferrari 296 GTB’s electrified powertrain has been comprehensively revised and simplified for racing, with the electric motors and hybrid battery dumped.
Despite that, the road-going 296 GTB’s twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 still manages to produce 515kW without the hybrid parts – around 95kW less than before.
The new Ferrari 296 Challenge will make its debut at Italy’s Mugello Circuit on October 24, replacing the old 488 Challenge Evo and racing in both the European and North American Ferrari Challenge series.
It's the start of the year, and Formula One teams have begun their 2024 reveals.
Shown here is the iconic 1988 Mclaren-Honda MP4/4 Formula One Racer.
Just in time too, for instagram #mocaroundgang #mocaround75 to the build theme #openwheeler
1988 marked the final year of the 'Turbo-era', car built with 1.5-litre V6 turbo engines (much like the current regulations).
The MP4/4 was powered by Honda's RA 168E engine, producing 695 PS, having previously used Porsche TAG engines. The switch to Honda power improved both performance and reliability.
Mclaren ran the red and white Marlboro livery that had featured on their cars for a number of years.
The magic was in the complete team, in that Mclaren had signed both Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, winning 15 from 16 races, 15 Pole positions.
The Mclaren MP4/4 is featured in the 2024 Lego lineup in Lego Icons form nr 10330. ALongside is a Minifig of the 1988 Driver's Champion, Ayrton Senna.
Hopefully one of many entries for this month's mocaround challenge, hosted by @paulielego and finishing up on March 16th.
NJ got hit with a shit ton of snow this holiday. We decided to take advantage of it.
Why anyone would decide to leave this car out in the snow is beyond me.

A visit to the Challenger Learning Center is a learning experience that engages students, transforming them into scientists, engineers or researchers on a simulated space mission. It expands a classroom to distant planets; it turns learning into inspiration and students into explorers. The Museum has two Challenger Learning Centers - one at the main Museum, and one at The George Observatory in Brazos Bend State Park.

Here is the retouched barn shot. This took a bit of work but nothing too hard. One layer with the blend mode set to multiply and then I painted in the highlights. One layer set to screen and then I painted in the shadows and brought up the lower body panels. I added an orange filter at 40% which really brought up the orange paint plus brought up the green from blue to green/green. I added the sun flare and warmed up the barn a bit.
Why all the warming and orange? because this was shot on a drizzly day and everything was very blue tinted. If you look closely, you can see the raining beading on the trunk it was that close to the rain storm that started as I started to shoot.
