Six weeks ago they were complete strangers. Cadet Basic Training forged them into cadets and trained them as Soldiers. The Steele Challenge served as the capstone event of CBT, Aug. 9-10, and demonstrated through squad-level military skills events that these strangers-turned-comrades have what it takes to join the Corps of Cadets.Photo by Mike Strasser/USMA PAO

July 17, 2016- Indian Lake, NY- Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul on behalf of Governor Andrew Cuomo participates in the 2016 Summer Adirondack Challenge. The Adirondack Challenge was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo to bolster tourism in the region. (Don Pollard/Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo)
After trying to do this challenge I have decided my town is souless. I drove through the industrial estate thinking surely there would be graffiti there but no. At one point I was assured that a certain location had fantastic art, only to find myself stood on a nudist beach armed with a dolly and a camera. So after a little research showed that Swale council is proud to maintain it's 98% graffiti free record, Ada (not me because I'm not that naughty) is proud to contribute to the 2% that Swale council can't find ;)

Create a portrait that expresses isolation in circumstances that are not isolated.
— Terry O'Neill
I really struggled with this challenge and I don't quite know why because its one I really looked forward too and had a few ideas for. I seem to have lost my iPhone photo mojo as nothing I tried seemed to work. This is the best of a bad bunch and the only shot that made it past the finish line to flickr. I need to sort my head out and then maybe I'll revisit this again.

A month into my back surgery I am learning once again to see with different eyes and a different lens. Not being able to wander far from home has not only been healing but has also led me to look beyond my own visionary comforts.
challenge #4 was album cover. both the band name and the album name were randomly generated, thats why they're so stupid.
