Katrina4547 Free pattern is available at thecrochetcrowd.com/written-patterns/760-club-update.html This was a challenge by thecrochetcrowd.com to complete this free Red Heart Pattern in colours that suited personal tastes. It was a lot of fun. These are official submissions by our viewers.
TotusMel created a Challenge useing a tatted piece created by her. I used red, mottled felted wool to create the cuff. I then centered the tatted piece, after gathering the center. The center includes a black tourmaline bead and french knots. I embroidered a design on each side of the tatted rosette. The closure is crocheted and fastens with a silver, metal button featuring a gentleman riding a bicycle circa 1920s.
I've set myself a challenge - to do a picture a day - out of the same image of myself, until I run out of things to do!! lol
They aren't the best, I know, and I'm not really putting as much of myself in to them as I could (I am sternly talking to myself as I type!) - but, recently, I've lost a bit of my mojo - so I though...doodle a bit...get the mojo flowing again...
Bit disappointed though - because when I view these on my work screen, they look much darker than they do on my home one :o(
I also made me a website - a totally self-indulgent all about me site! lol - it's only for fun! coralee.moonfruit.com/

This Dodge Challenger R/T isn't the modern retro car. Oh no, this is the real thing, the Challenger from the early seventies! I found it while on City Island in the Bronx.
And since City Island is so unique, it's only appropriate that it's painted purple, a rather unique color for a car, especially a 2+2 sports coupe.
The original Challenger was in production from the 1970 to 1974 model years. (I don't know the exact year of this car. The standard engine for the R/T was the 383 Magnum V8, rated at 335 horsepower.
The first-generation Challenger is the only Challenger ever made in the United States. The second-generation "Challenger," actually a Mitsubishi Galant Lambda, was of course made in Japan, but the current third-generation retro model is made in . . . Canada.

As I relax when I get home from work, the dog and I sit near our tree swing. Crafted by my father in a period of boredom while house sitting one year. He was never one to sit around. It makes me wonder how he is doing on the Continental Divide Trail (though I am sure, great).
I don't know why I want one of these so badly. But I do! I really do. Just get rid of those retarded racing stripes and I might just get out my chequebook.
