The Space Shuttle Challenger's remains were buried in an old Minuteman silo at Launch Complex 31. The concrete cover required the two largest cranes in Florida to lift it into place. No plaques are present, and no ceremony was performed. The mission photos for Challenger and Columbia are missing in the shuttle crew quarters at the Operations and Checkout Building.

For every Hellcat there must be at least 10 regular Challengers.
This was born out of me fiddling with the Hellcat I built earlier, and figured that one Challenger wasn't enough. It's got an entirely different rear end than the first one, meant to look more like the earlier models (2008-ish).
I can now officially tick off medium nougat on my list of "cars to make in every colour". Now I just gotta figure out which colour to build the inevitable Demon.

It is that time of year when the sheep start their courting. It seems to start with a bit of head butting, followed by a bit of chasing and attempted mating. None of these attempts seemed successful. I imagine it is a bit cold for that sort of thing! These are the Hebridean Sheep that share a field with the llamas, immediately behind our garden.
I often go up there to have a look and check that they are all OK.

TotusMel created a Challenge useing a tatted piece created by her. I used red, mottled felted wool to create the cuff. I then centered the tatted piece, after gathering the center. The center includes a black tourmaline bead and french knots. I embroidered a design on each side of the tatted rosette. The closure is crocheted and fastens with a silver, metal button featuring a gentleman riding a bicycle circa 1920s.
