The Challenge Stradale is a limited production track-day car based on the 360 Modena, inspired by the 360 Modena Challenge racing car so the focus was primarily on improving its track lapping performance by concentrating on handling, braking and weight reduction characteristics.
The Challenge Stradale accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds (three tenths faster than a Modena).
In total, the Challenge Stradale is up to 110 kg (243 lb) lighter than the standard Modena if all the lightweight options are specified such as deleted radio, lexan (plexiglass) door window and Alcantara fabric (instead of the leather option).
The engine and transmission weight was slimmed down 11 kg (24 lb) through the use of a smaller, lighter weight sports (yet still stainless steel) exhaust back box and valved exit pipes. The Challenge Stradale also got Brembo carbon ceramic brakes as standard (which later became standard fitment on the F430) which shaved 16 kg off the curb weight and improved handling by reducing unsprung weight and completely eliminating brake fade.

Recently my daughter's sixth grade class went to the Challenger Learning Center in Bloomington, IL. The Challenger Learning Center's are a series of educational centers to teach young people about space and space travel. The centers were set up by the family survivors of the Challenger disaster in 1986.

This is part of the gear my husband uses to train his search and rescue dog, but tonight, Flattery thought she'd climb on and get a little exercise. It was all good until she got to the wobble table and then she said she'd humored me enough. The girl will do anything for a treat.

A few weeks ago I gave fellow Flickr member, Sumitra Sarkar, www.flickr.com/photos/68063993@N03/ a weekend challenge.
The challenge was "3". . . . .
When out walking the dog this evening, I tried it myself.
Took this while setting up my shot for the steel wool, and in post I changed the colors and what not. I really like it!

I used a texture to replace the sky, added 2 more textures and an overlay to add some light and airiness and glow. Removed texture from the little girl. Brightened her up a bit and painted over her skin as necessary. Softened her skin, saturated her dress and shoes a touch. Warmed it up, lightened it up. Brought out the highlights in her hair with the dodge tool. Used the burn tool to bring out the detail in her dress and certain shadowed areas. Sharpened and inserted the photo in a template designed by Denise George. I loved the template and quote and thought it suited this gorgeous little girl perfectly!

The final event to the Steele Challenge, Aug. 9-10, for the Class of 2016 was the inauspicious sounding problem-solving site. New cadets encountered a scenario where their squad leader was rendered unconscious in an attack and they were left to navigate their own way to the finish line. It would require teamwork and ingenuity to race the clock and by devising a plan to get across Lake Popolopen in a Zodiac raft with all their equipment and no paddles. Most squads chose to swim the raft across which proved slower than those who decided to hand paddle, though the swim was decidedly a cooler choice after a long day of activity. Once across, the new cadets had to figure out the best way to get the raft, the equipment and their squad leader down the road, several hundred feet, to the finish line. The raft itself weighed over 300-pounds, and adding additional burden to it had many squads struggling under the weight. However, racing each component separately proved to be the best option, of course, with several variances applicable. Squad leaders had one or two new cadets providing the escort to the end, but lane evaluators said height differentials and weight distribution made two-man carries harder than having just one cadet carry the squad leader. Several additional layers set on colour dodge using different brushes (houses, birds, trees), painting with 100% and then reducing opacity of the layer , as well as masking parts of those.
Added the text of this description to the top right corne
Increased canvas size, used combination of all layers and the vector as frame.
And, I am very proud of myself - I have used a lot of keyboard shortcuts, heya!!!!!
