On a dismal dull morning Pathfinders Buffer Puffer is seen approaching Paddington behind DRS Class 20 No 20308 with 20309 on the rear. The train had left Crewe in the early hours this being the first leg Stiil a record shot of sorts.
Splendidly buffered on both sides of the bike lane, helping to keep people from riding in the door zone.

An example of a buffered bike lane in Portland: separated from traffic and parked cars by buffer zones on both sides.

We designed our buffers clean up your sound and allow the maximum tone from your pickups and cables to your amp. Low output impedance can send the signal through long cables without losing response and top frequencies. Not operable with battery.
With 20304 at the rear, we see 20303 passing Eden Park on Pathfinders' "Buffer Puffer 11.1" tour on 8 February 2014.
Installation of saturated buffer in Story County, Iowa, on land farmed by Justin Hanson. A water control structure is a key component; it either diverts water from field tile to the perforated tile that runs parallel to the stream--which saturates the buffer-- or allows water to bypass the buffer, depending on how many panels are inserted into the structure to divert flow.

Installation of saturated buffer in Story County, Iowa, on land farmed by Justin Hanson. Dan Jayne of USDA ARS inserts panels into a water control structure. The panels divert water from field tile into tile that run parallel to the stream, saturating the strip of land bordering the stream. Native prairie plants seeded in the buffer then remove nitrates from the water.

6 April 2014. Khor Abeche: UNAMID engineers work on the construction of a watch tower in a Buffer Zone that is being constructed for the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) who are currently living inside the UNAMID base in Khor Abeche, South Darfur, following the attack they suffered by an armed group on March 22.
According to the community leaders, more than 3,000 IDPs still remain inside the compound since the incident. On March 22, about 300 heavily armed men attacked the IDP camp, setting fire to dozens of shelters and stealing livestock belonging to the residents.
The World Food Programme (WFP) have already distributed food (sorghum) to the IDPs and the UNAMID base provides potable water and health care. The Buffer Zone is expected to be 70,000 m2 , with watch towers, solar lights, two community centers and latrines outside the base, where the IDPs will be able to securely settle in the near future.
