I'm forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air
They fly so high, nearly reach the sky
Then like my dreams they fade and die
This was a very challenging challenge! Frustrating. Exhausting. Addictive. I learned a lot and know what I'll do differently the next time I try this. My biggest problem was lighting and focus. The fact that I don't have a lot of photography equipment also hindered me. My kitchen table was a mess! I would have liked to have taken the project outside for better lighting, but we've had nothing but rain and wind. So the virus isn't the only thing keeping me inside!

Dave and I hiked from Bull’s Bridge north along the Appalachian Trail along Schaghticoke Ridge with this small stream as our destination.
The water was running because of snow melt and there were small waterfalls, foam eddy currents, and lots of bubbles. The Ricoh GR did some interesting things with the bubbles so I'm posting a few of them.

Macromondays: Theme is busy
A not entirely successful attempt to capture the patterns on a bubbles surface.
Would have liked less bubbles in front of the face, but I only got one shot at it. I need to get a more accommodating model next time :-)
Walking around in Barcelona, gives opportunities. Interesting bonus, the reflection of the old lady in the bubble.
Tozer found that as further bubbles were made from a particular batch of solution, less colours appeared on the surface. “The first bubble you make has loads of colour in it, when you make another couple they seem to have less detergent in them, so less colour,” he says. “The detergent sinks to the bottom of the bubbles, leaving the water behind, so you gradually get paler images"...
