This image of a bubble got a lot of attention on Facebook and people were asking how much photoshop was involved. To show I put up this image which is uncropped and has not been edited at all. The final version which had a few tweaks in photoshop is here. www.flickr.com/photos/jack-harry-bill/14668366960/in/phot...

I was inspired by the group seebeyondFATTKATT www.flickr.com/groups/1157170@N21/ with their funky colors and psychedelic images.

I've been playing with PhotoImpact (anything to avoid writing essays) and although most of these are messy or OTT I thought I'd post them anyway. Comments and advice appreciated! (just be nice and remember I'm a beginner)

The bowl was filled with water, and it was made to overflow by placing it under flowing tap water. As the tap water hit the surface of the water in the bowl, I was able to shoot these random shapes of the froth generated. Shot at 1/200th second with flash on. (Looks like cells under a microscope, doesn't it?)

a new bottle of shampoo - hours of fun with bubbles ...

I don't know why buy I keep forgetting I have this photo. It was a last minute decision to drive here on this morning so it was a race against the clock while driving on the ice covered roads.

In the end I arrived to the location with plenty of time spare to think about compositions. Luckily there weren't any people around which made things a bit easier for me. I timed this shot so that I captured it as it bubbles up like a cauldron just before it errupts.

It is a tourist spot, and it is a bit of a "touristy" image I suppose but I don't care - how often do you see a fuming geyser?

Walking around in Barcelona, gives opportunities. Interesting bonus, the reflection of the old lady in the bubble.
