Freezing bubbles experiment (with my son the first day, then on my own on the 2nd attempt - because I'm just a big kid.) :)
I've been forever blowing Bubbles
And I just adore this image!
I have had an absolute storm with this set... A fish tank full of water and a 6mm tube through which I have been blowing bubbles! One flash, naked and just above the surface at 45 degrees triggered with a pair of RF603s. Mounted the Tamron 90mm on a jessops 2x teleconverter and wound up the aperture as tight as it would go (F90 no less!!!)
I had no Idea how frustratingly hard this would be nor how messy it could get!
I have no idea where the orange 'smoke' appeared from or what it is!!!
bubblesss. i love underwater cameras. except the date is all messed up on the one i use. fail.
“Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.” ~William Shakespeare (also a line from a Harry Potter song from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for all the HP fans)
Whilst going through my pics 2nite, this one reminded me of Woodstock. Just the guys hair with the bubbles jaxtaposition made me think hippie :)
.Entertaining the cat. Down draft of winds made it difficult with bubble wand in one hand and camera in the other Camera movement in this photo

Bubble making machine. Everyone needs one.
Strobist info: Used a single flash from camera right that was pointed at an angle towards the ceiling to bounce down. The flash was about 4 meters from the camera.

Another of the bizarre, hard-to-pop bubbles.
Just doing some experimenting with different objects to pop them. I thought that this would work a little better!
