Natural light portrait for my son's one year shots back at the end of August. I can't believe how fast he's growing up. :)

The bubble blower that I bought for the boys makes these crazy bubbles inside bubbles....and they are huge!
Last year I took some pictures of frozen soap bubbles during the coldest part of winter, so I thought I'd keep up the tradition.
It was -12°F / -24°C when I took this. I wanted to get some more interesting shots but it's too cold to hang around outside blowing bubbles for too long.
I took this in my living room, bubbles where supplied by my friend Charles and my flash light was bounced from a White door!
ODC2...Stand or standing...Woke up to these beautiful water droplets standing on the tarp covering the fishing boat. I wanted to see where the water was pooling in order to stretch it out properly. But, instead, I found this wonderful eyeful. So happy I could use it for today's challenge!
I love shooting soap bubbles. You never know what kind of image will appear in them. Many thanks to Sebastian for providing the enthusiastic kid power to produce these amazing orbs.
Bubble and squeak is a traditional English dish made with the shallow-fried leftover vegetables from a roast dinner. The main ingredients are potato and Brussels sprouts, but carrots, peas, cabbages, or any other leftover vegetables can be added. The chopped vegetables (and cold chopped meat if used) are fried in a pan together with mashed potatoes or crushed roast potatoes until the mixture is well-cooked and brown on the sides. The dish is so named because it makes bubbling and squeaking sounds during the cooking process

Decided that bubbles seem very calm. Except when attempting to photograph them.
Day 044 - #Photo365 - Calmness
I bought some supposedly 'Rainbow bubbles' recently and paid over the odds for them but they dissapointed the family however when I visited London last Sunday was amazed by the colour and longevity of the true rainbow bubbles as seen in front of the Tate Modern display for free!!
Families were mesmerised!
