Hearing the weather forecast about the cold front and a few more days of looming gloomy weather, we decided to savour the remaining hours of sunshine. We took a bubble stick and went for walk in the park with our camera.
The wind was quite strong before the storm, hence the bubble get blown out and did not have time to form a more spherical shape. They looked like transparent potatoes in the air!
One is never too old to play.............
Sun was just rising over the trees and hit the bubble. At the 3 o'clock position you can see part of the deck floor in the reflection.
And, another bubble in the background
magickal fairies trapped inside, like dreams, like our shooting star wishes, wouldn't you like to set your clock to 11:11?
This most recent set of bubble photos were taken using a studio flash and plain old washing up liquid and water. The bubble doesn't last very long at all, between 30 and 60 secdonds, but the colours are great! The powerful studio flash allows me to use F/32 and ISO 100 which ensures the sharpest image.
