Orlando Brewing is the local beer. These hand-crafted organic ales and lagers are already available in select bars and restaurants across Central Florida. Many more are coming aboard. And, of course, you can always wet your whistle right here at the Tap Room.
Orlando Brewing is Florida’s only certified organic brewery. What does it mean to be organic? It means that ingredients used in crafting our ales are grown without insecticides, bioengineering, or irradiation.
Orlando Brewing brews in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516. That means we use only natural, organic ingredients.

Brew at the Zoo - The annual beer tasting event featuring many large and small breweries at Franklin Park Zoo.
A bottle of Barley Brew from Gourmetbryggeriet in Roskilde, Denmark.
Gourmetbryggeriet Barley Brew is a 10.5% abv barley wine, this particular bottle had been in my cellar for 7-8 years and had already expired by four years (best before 3 May 2010) when I opened it, but that is usually no problem for a barley wine. And it turned it wasn't.
The beer poured a dark reddish brown color with a beige head. It smelled of dried fruits with an oxidized malty sweetness underneath. Mouthfeel was full bodied with an oily texture. The taste started out with a good malty sweetness, slightly grainy. As it warmed, notes of ripe and dried fruits turned up. It finished with a mild bitterness and a lingering sweet aftertaste. Pretty tasty. Not bad for an expired beer.
Mackinaw Brewing Co on the corner of Front and Cass streets in Traverse City, Michigan.
The Mackinaw Brewing Company has been brewing great craft beers since 1997, they also serve a healthy lunch menu so it's a great place to stop for a snack and a couple of beers (if you're not behind the wheel).
Something a little different. The Hoyne Brewing Company of Victoria/BC have eight types of beer at the moment. Some of them have existed for a while and some are new and possibly transitory. To celebrate, I bought one of each while they last. They are, upper row L to R: Alpha Acid (IPA); Queen's Knight (dunkelweizen); Hoyne Pilsner; Dark Matter (dark lager?). lower row L to R: Vienna (amber lager); Entre Nous (Belgian cherry witbier); Summer Haze (honey wheat beer); Down Easy (pale ale).

One day, I will shoot the coffee machine at work.
One day, dear machine, you will regret producing weak coffee late at night.
One day you will regret malfunctioning when I need you,
