last night i made some banana bread.
now im not a fan of eating actual bananas... but i do love banana bread! so yum
random fact: this loaf wont last long. not even 24 hours after its made and theres only one piece left :)

Didn't have Peter's magic dutch oven. The oven spring was no good at all, as you can see, the bread hardly opened up at all. Well, at least it's pretty.
I took a three-day class in whole wheat bread at the French Culinary Institute and these are some of the results. It's about a month later now, and most of this bread is gone. It is in my belly.
custom-made loaves at Kaz today, with a stencil made from an old wine label of his (notice the devil is uncorking a bottle of Kaz wine) -- and SO tasty on a cold & rainy day!

The making of bread by hand provides much tactile pleasure. This batch is half wholemeal flour, half strong white flour.

Receta para Maquina de Pan:
* 400 gr de harina 00 (no se cual es el equivalente en España)
* 100 gr de harina integral de centeno
* 300 gr de liquido, de los cuales: 95 gr del liquido de las aceitunas + 2 cucharadas soperas de aceite de oliva + el resto de agua tibia
* 1 cucharada de cafe de sal
* 2 cucharadas de cafe de azucar
* 2 cucharadas de cafe de hierbas
* 1 sobre de levadura de panaderia (no se si esto lo venden en España o se sustituye por un cubito de levadura de cerveza)
El programa es el de pan normal en la maquina. Cuando suene el bip se añade 150 gr de aceitunas verdes cortadas.

Fuji Neopan Acros 100 @100 Caffenol Delta STD 20ºC, 15 min
I like this bread (address in geotag) and sure I don't want to waste it with the same coffee I use for caffenol.
Fuji Acros 100 film is described as easy to develop in caffenol and very nice in Delta STD, but I got an almost transparent (scanning was possible but awful) first roll. This one went out great although I don't see it as replacement for lost Shanghai GP3 when it was good. Specially for the high price.

J'aime ce pain (adresse dans les méta données) et je ne le gâcher avec le même café que j'utilise pour le caffenol.
Le film Fuji Acros 100 est décrit comme facile à développer au caffenol et très bon avec le Delta STD mais j'ai eu un premier rouleau presque transparent (possible à scanner mais affreux). Celui-là est bon bien que je ne vois pas le remplacement du regretté Shanghai GP3 quand était bon. Particulièrement pour son haut prix.

El carrete Fuji Acros 100 está descrito como muy fácil de revelar en caffenol y muy bueno en Delta STD pero el primer rollo casi me salió transparente (lo escape con dificultad y resulto horrible). Este está bien pero no veo la substitución del Shanghai GP3 cuando era bueno. Sobre todo por su precio alto.
My first attempt at making wholewhat bread. Used my favourite bread recipe that my mum always uses.

I only have one loaf tin. I meant to cut the recipe down to only make one loaf, but forgot half-way through mixing the ingredients and started putting in full amounts. So I had to go back and add the right amounts of everything else. It also meant I ended up with a LOT of bread. It's a good thing it's tasty!
