Sometimes I find myself digging through my SL closet screaming in distress because I can’t decide what to wear even though there are innumerable clothes right in front of my eyes.
I am not alone... for it is a common phenomenon many experience here in SL not deciding upon what to wear beforehand because of our busy schedules and other RL priorities.

Banjo Pier is named because of its shape. It has a short 'neck' and round bulbous end which, when viewed from above, looks like the shape of a Banjo. Banjo Pier is almost 130 years old and was built as a prototype to try and solve a specific problem. It is therefore the oldest surviving example of a 'Banjo pier' and is a Grade 2 listed structure.
Looe is a famous fishing town and has been for centuries, but one of the issues faced by Looe and its fishing fleet was that the river entrance would regularly clog up with silt carried by the River Looe and deposited at the river mouth where it meets the sea.
In 1897 a local engineer, Joseph Thomas, proposed a radical solution for this by building a shorter, thicker pier with a rounded end. The design was very radical at the time and not well received. But so sure was he that the solution would work, that he offered to pay for it himself if it didn't. The solution did work and the harbour commission agreed to pay for it. The river remains unclogged with silt to this day.
Having a rounded end removes the corners at the end of a regular shaped pier. Corners cause the silt, carried by the outflowing tide, to become trapped. As the outflowing current travels down the length of the pier, it reaches the end of the pier and is 'sucked' into the still water at the front of the pier. This causes the current to stop, and it can no longer support the silt it is carrying which is deposited. As time passes the edges of the deposited silt will also cause the current to stop and deposit even more silt. Having a round end means that there are no corners for the current to get trapped behind and thus the silt is carried out to sea with the moving water. This solution was the first of its kind in the world and has been copied in other locations to solve similar issues.
Today the fishing fleet no longer uses the pier to offload, although there is a navigation light on the pier to guide the fleet home. The pier is often used for visitors to sit and enjoy the view. At high tides it is used by anglers to try to catch Bass, Pollock and the occasional Gurnard. At low tide it is possible to walk around the base of the pier and look up at the structure. In more adverse weather the waves regularly go over the pier 'neck' and it becomes unsafe to walk along, hence there are gates at the start of the pier that are there to ensure visitor safety.

"The red phalarope or grey phalarope (Phalaropus fulicarius) is a small wader. This phalarope breeds in the Arctic regions of North America and Eurasia. It is migratory, and, unusually for a wader, migrates mainly on oceanic routes, wintering at sea on tropical oceans.
The typical avian sex roles are reversed in the three phalarope species. Females are larger and more brightly coloured than males. The females pursue males, compete for nesting territory, and will aggressively defend their nests and chosen mates. Once the females lay their olive-brown eggs, they begin their southward migration, leaving the males to incubate the eggs and care for the young. Three to six eggs are laid in a ground nest near water. Incubation lasts 18 or 19 days. The young mainly feed themselves and are able to fly within 18 days of birth.
The red phalarope is about 21 cm (8.3 in) in length, with lobed toes and a straight bill, somewhat thicker than that of red-necked phalarope. The breeding female is predominantly dark brown and black above, with red underparts and white cheek patches. The bill is yellow, tipped black. The breeding male is a duller version of the female. Young birds are light grey and brown above, with buff underparts and a dark patch through the eye. In winter, the plumage is essentially grey above and white below, but the black eyepatch is always present. The bill is black in winter.
When feeding, a red phalarope will often swim in a small, rapid circle, forming a small whirlpool. This behaviour is thought to aid feeding by raising food from the bottom of shallow water. The bird will reach into the outskirts of the vortex with its bill, plucking small insects or crustaceans caught up therein. They sometimes fly up to catch insects in flight. On the open ocean, they are found in areas where converging ocean currents produce upwellings and are often found near groups of whales. Outside of the nesting season they often travel in flocks."

Tapir - T. terrestrial - Male - Wild - at Pantanal - The South American tapir, also commonly called the Brazilian tapir, the Amazonian tapir, the maned tapir, the lowland tapir, the anta, and la sachavaca, is one of the four recognized species in the tapir family. It is the largest surviving native terrestrial mammal in the Amazon. Vulnerable.
T. terrestris is an excellent swimmer and diver, but also moves quickly on land, even over rugged, mountainous terrain. It has a life span of approximately 25 to 30 years. In the wild, its main predators are crocodilians (only the black caiman and Orinoco crocodile, the latter of which is critically endangered, are large enough to take these tapirs, as the American crocodile only exists in the northern part of South America) and large cats, such as the jaguar and cougar, which often attack tapirs at night when tapirs leave the water and sleep on the riverbank. The South American tapir is also attacked by the green anaconda (Eunectes murinus). T. terrestris is known to run to water when scared to take cover.
The South American tapir can attain a body length of 1.8 to 2.5 m (5.9 to 8.2 ft) with a 5 to 10 cm (2.0 to 3.9 in) short stubby tail and an average weight around 225 kg (496 lb). Adult weight has been reported ranging from 150 to 320 kg (330 to 710 lb). It stands somewhere between 77 to 108 cm (30 to 43 in) at the shoulder.

She's a little House Finch... and, I have no clue if she is as melodic as Mr. Chirpy... but we call them Mr. and Mrs. Chirpy... because one of them sings beautiful songs. You can hear them a mile away... all through the winter too. They stick around even during the horrible cold weather.
They are very busy right now... I assume they are building nests. They come and go to the water basin throughout the day and hang out for about half an hour in the evenings... sitting in the lilac branches and hopping up and down to the basin... sipping lots of water. Building is thirsty work.

I am a little behind on my 52 week challenge, but I'm getting it done as soon as I can! I've been quite busy! I have been staying steady on my 52Frames (because it's a countdown, I have to! Or I'll break my streak.. *ohh the pressure lol*)
I'm going to catch up as soon as I can. I have to do my 52Frames soon, and it's "PORTRAIT" & extra credit is "Rembrandt Lighting" - so we'll see if I get it done with the extra credit.. but either way I'll have a portrait for them by Sunday!
I've been VERY stressed out lately too, but I've been doing A LOT of praying and self reflection, and I know that it's all going to be okay. I'm remaining positive, even though sometimes it can be VERY HARD. (No worries, I'm fine! Everything is going to work out, in the right time!)
◼ The subject for WEEK 19 on my 52 WEEK is: "END OF THE LINE"!
I took quite a few different photos that I could use for this one, however.. this sign has been in my mind ever since I heard of the subject.. I took this photo on the way home from the store, and I ended up choosing this one to use.
I really love the sign underneath, about the deaf cat.. It's so unique.
I hope that you all are doing well! I have a photo shoot to do tomorrow morning (PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY for an upcoming website)- I'm excited! I'll post a photo to show you guys what I come up with.. Although I'll probably have a few good ones, I'm sure!
