Cadence models a custom order for a place we can't talk about. Pink and white printed gingham has bead-studded, diamond wave patterned smocking. Decorative machine embroidery on the white collar and cuffs and also the scalloped hem. This dress is shorter than my usual, by customer request.
Hand rolled in the village of Ndejje by Mzuribeads cooperative. Strips of recycled paper are cut into triangles, and rolled tighlty around a needle. The beads are then hung up and varnished for a waterproof and glossy finish. No paint involved, the colours are determined on the specific pages selected.

As I have periphial nerve damage to my finger tips am unable to hand bead so had to glue the beads and cover with cellophane so they don't rub off

Tonner made the bodice of this dress very plain so I added some beading which is similar to what I've seen in photos of the actual costume. Abandoned Bride.
Our flower girl handed out individually plastic vased tea roses because we weren't allowed to drop petals on the aisle runner. It was too cute!
