Dug out my beading supplies to build a new keychain for a friend who'd requested a replacement.

2 Scarf rings made for the Peyote Stitch GCC through EGA. The top ring is flat

surfaced. The second bows nicely the way the pattern was intended. The difference is bead size. I suppose this pattern could be used for napkin rings. :-)

These two Ikea shelf brackets help hold up my beading stand.

I chose to bead my photographs with those same colors that she has been beading my slippers (moccasins) with, since I was a baby. There is always a piece of her with me; her essence is always with me here in Toronto.

 

I would like to dedicate this book to Annie Norbert, a caring, humorous jijoo (grandma).

This is from Jill Oxton's Cross Stitch and Beading (issue 60). I met Jill and the rest of the gang at a craft show earlier this year and Gwendoline (Jill's daughter) suggested I try doing a shoe to learn brick stitch which I had admited to her I had yet to master. Here is my first shoe! Ta da! Just needs a coat of clear nail polish to finish it off.

The Beaded Christmas Tree Charm is great as Christmas decoration, ornaments, earrings, pendant and mobile phone accessory. This one I used green and brown color seed beads. Using the Right Angle Weave beading technique.

These were very hard to photograph inside on an overcast day!! The color didn't want to come out right. This is very accurate, but blurry.
