The Heckler is a bit of a hybrid build that takes the arms from the Peltast and legs from the Heron. Combined with a new torso design, it all combines into a mechsuit heavily inspired by Titanfall (particularly Ion and Tone). It stands halfway between the height of the two parent mechs.
A bit of backstory for the choice of name:
#1: I was rather... heckled by what I should call this thing for about 3 days. My usual naming trend has ancient warriors for humanoids, and animals for walker types. Nothing stuck out to me, even mythical hybrid beasts and animals. So the fact that this bugged me for so long is kinda fitting lol.
#2: The fact that it completely reuses whole sections of older mech designs was something I kinda did for the... heck of it. I initially was going to redesign the reused parts but the pre-existing limbs mixed well enough together that I decided it not worth trying to overhaul them.
#3: It being a smaller mech with a lower profile better suited to guerrilla warfare or infantry support, it could be used to harass bigger mechs and vehicles.
#4: Canis Arms Corporation (whom I've met in person) has a small mech of similar size called the Taunt. So calling my new design 'Heckler' fits with that too lol.
So with all that I'm just going to go with it.
As for equipment, the Heckler is able to use the same handheld weapons that the Peltast can. The standard has a heavier Gauss rifle with Micro-Missiles on the back, and a pair of small Rayguns on the wrist of each forearm.
Even with it's gun on it's back, the Heckler is still balanced enough to stand on one leg as shown in this running pose.

I have messed around with this for months! So many tweaks, so many modifications built and tossed aside! Anyway, I'd love to pilot this in MWO. It's kind of a Catapult mixed with a Jagermech so I took the easy way out and called it a Jager Cat. High mounted weapons are extremely nice!
It's really a relief to finally post this... I could probably keep on modifying it but nah, I'm a happy camper.
Fitted in the high "hump" of the Hoplite, a solid fuel jumpjet enabled the mech to propel itself several meters in the air, capable of clearing gates and walls as tall as itself. Here the cooling manifold for the SRM launcher and the PPC are seen as well.
I thought I should start building again, So I made this.
Inspired by: Ironsniper and Fateheart.
Hope you enjoyed it.

The Warhammer is one of the most famous `Mechs of the Inner Sphere. The design entered production in 2515 and its production continued until the fall of the Starleague. The main firepower for its impressive array of weapons comes fromthe Warhammer's twin PPCs, which are supplemented by an SRM 6 launcher and a pair each of machine guns, small lasers, and medium lasers. If this `Mech has one problem, it is with heat-buildup.
The Warhammer is one of the most common mechs of its size in the Inner Sphere and is employed by virtually all successor houses.
I was inspired to build this after seeing this video ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=sl4eI3htAuA ) and the visual traits of this version are largely taken from the variant shown in the video. I'm not particularly happy with the feet or hips, but, otherwise, I'm quite satisfied with this build.
Even though I use a lot of "impossible" brick/color combos in these builds, I always like to add play functions. The pulse laser chin turret seen here actually incorporates mini shooters.

Old school Battletech!
Inspired by the canopy and finding some old photos of my original madcat builds from back in the day when I was a wee lad.
Twelve years of boilerplate!
A good friend, and avid MWO player, set me a challenge - build a Timber Wolf he said - So here it is, one for the Mechwarrior/Battletech fans.
If you like the MOC, and would like one of your own, please head to LEGO Ideas and hit support and it could become an official set.
Ever since I had the privileged opportunity to suggest this cockpit be moulded in the iconic Blacktron I colours, I have dreamed of putting it into a MOC worthy of the amazing 80's aesthetic that the Snow Speeder windscreen just SCREAMS. To me, that's an attack-helicopter with legs a-la Mechwarrior/Battletech - something in the realm of the Marauder/Catapult (Mad Cat / Timber Wolf / Stormcrow / Viper ) variety. Since the amazing set The Force Burner Snowspeeder™ 75414
designed by Daniel Lehmann released last month, and because he graciously outed me as the catalyst for the windscreen's bold look, I have endeavoured to make my retro bipedal Battle Mech. I used a TON of vintage parts and tried to stick closely to the original design language and pattern of the Blacktron I sets. This model is my sturdiest Mech MOC yet! Incorporating dynamic posing, I could achieve this cool pose, and with some supports it could definitely get into a running position. It has working actuators and armor panels that adapt to the shifts in the legs, seats two pilots, and has a winch for them to ascend to the main body from the ground. I am planning to do some outdoor/diorama scenes with SPI getting their comeuppance, but it is an ABSOLUTE dust magnet so I ran to the office for some beauty shots. If you want the whole story of the windscreen, ask me in person. This will be at Skærbæk 2025. I hope you enjoy!!!
In partnership with our workshop manager Clay he had been tinkering with the model digitally to perfect a design that could actually be built. Clay had to mastermind a skeleton to hold the model up and a system of counterbalances to make sure it could stand.
Ryan really wanted the model to stand out, so he built it using a stark arctic camouflage pattern. The pattern was made up of light gray, dark gray, white and dark blue, with occasional black highlights. This made building it actually very difficult and much more time consuming!
The Saguaro is an experimental superheavy quad mech. It is essentially a lumbering missile boat.
Abbreviated Battletech stats
Mass: 140 tons
Movement:
Walking: 21.6 KPH (2 hexes)
Running:32.4 KPH (3 Hexes)
Armament:
4 ER Large Lasers
8 LRM 5's
8 ATM 3's
Ammunition:
LRM 5 72 reloads (3 tons)
ATM 3 80 reloads (4 tons)
(2 tons LR, 1 ton HE, 1 ton Std)
Max heat buildup : 82
26 double heat sinks
And here's how the ankle joint is supporting the weight. It's a technique I first saw used by Chubbybots, and provides an excellent range of movement.

Left version: I've made the large pulse laser barrels thicker by adding another half-pin, and used cut flex tubing to make the smaller barrels for the medium pulse lasers. Kudos to .Tromas for reminding me of flex tube.
Right version: Picking up on a suggestion by SonOfTheShire to use ADU guns as the base for the arms.
I think I prefer the left version. I didn't want to mix bleys on the right version, which meant dark bley legs. This makes the legs a bit taller which doesn't look right to me. It's nice that the ADU gun based arms look smooth and don't require flex tube cutting, but then the lasers don't have different sizes like they should have.
Thoughts?
Battletech/MechWarrior inspired Archer frames (One standard, one mini. Chub is for sizing) Both are equipped with Dual LRM pods, and Rear defense turret.
The Thug was a direct competitor to the Warhammer BattleMech, but never surpassed it. It is armed with twin PPCs and twin SRM launchers.
LDD/Studio Files for Complete Battletech Designs available in my Google Drive:
The Armadillo is a regular Longbow that is loaded with extra tonnage invested in ferro-fiberous armoured wedges. This model is perfect for operations in the lowland desert where this mech can sometimes be caught in between the peaks of sand dunes and forced into close range combat. The extra armour helps the survivability of these situations.
Well another battletech/macross inspired mech, hope you guys like it, because it was a real pain to get together. Anyone care to guess what technique I used to create the oddly spaced gaps that give this mech texture?
Modular walls for BattleTech games. Each hex sized section (except the arched gate) is its own module to allow for in-game destruction.

I've recently replaced the joints in all of the taunt derivatives with the newer mixel ball and socket joints. The I kinda went crazy with the longshoreman. It ended up with an extra set of arms and quite a bit taller than its sister designs.
Ryan had been working on his model idea for over 2 years- an enormous version of the classic Timberwolf Mech from the Battletech boardgames he loved in the early 90s.
During the last part of the build process Ryan had an accident while moving house, which broke his hand. So Ryan had to rope in the rest of the Brickman team to finish the model off in time for Brickvention. Stephan, Luke, Tullett, Jordan and KC all spent time doing parts of the model.
Together with the final time (650 hours!) he and the team spent building, Ryan spent just under 3 years on this model- making it the longest LEGO® project he’s ever worked on.
All up the model used 122,639 LEGO® pieces!
