An example of the modularity of my designs and the fun of Lego. What happens when you swap the torso on the Thomisid and Jarhead mechs?

You get the Jarhead Centaur and the Thomis-head Biped. I'd say the former works better than the latter.

Rendering time: 10 minutes 2 seconds, ultra quality

If there are some people more familiar whit simlab i would really apreciate any comments to have better renderings, any advices is really helpfull as im totally noob on this

After frustrating rendering times whit povray and the impossible task of rendering a specific massive scene i invested a whole week researching how to use simlab, i had to build a computer from trash just to have the right hardware and after a lot of testing here is my second result, whit a wooping time of 10 minutes 2 seconds, im pretty sure this is gonna be my new standard, but first more testing!!!

What's this? More mechwarrior? Well you really didn't think I was done yet, what with all the designs and variations to choose from. This one is modeled after the Owens Omni-mech, which is a follow up model to the Jenner.

A combo shot here without the background to give the form some more clarity.

I hope you like surprises

If the surprise is 4 SRM-6s

The 35-ton Myrmidon, while not able to go toe to toe with larger assault-class mechs, is capable of holding its own in a fight, thanks to its twin-linked autocannons, large pulse laser, and missle pod.

had some good progress and have the limbs pretty much how I want them

Narrowed the hips and it really helped the the look of the mech

Onto the torso

This is a modification of the Vulture originally made by Tyutyu the E-Wing Guy.

His is one of the best I've seen, and it was a lot of fun to work with as part of our little exchange. Can you guess what I sent his way? Follow him and you'll find out soon!

my updated light mech with M1NDxBEND3R's locust light mech, reminds me of the Battletech Protomechs a lot

Okay, so I figured it's high time I did a mech that wasn't a bug. I was inspired by the Tau Broadside Battlesuit from Warhammer 40K, but wanted to go much MUCH bigger with this one. Something more appropriate to Battletech or Robotech.

THRESHER - HEAVY ASSAULT MECH

After nearly three years in delays, the thresher is finally ready for combat. The thresher was designed as a "Front Line Artillery Mech". While Front Line and Artillery may seem like contradictions, the goal of the designers was to make a direct fire mech with as much firepower as a heavier slower artillery mech.

The Thresher's main weapons are the two giant Particle Projection Cannons (PPCs) mounted on it's shoulders. These massive guns are of a scale otherwise only found on capitol ships' weapon mounts. Each PPC has it's own generator and massive dedicated heat sinks allowing for an alarming rate of fire.

The Thresher's secondary weapons include a variety of missiles as well as pulse lasers and a Gatling cannon. The mech is heavily shielded and armored.

Though it looks ponderous, the Thresher is surprisingly nimble if not particularly fast. It is however equipped with jump jets allowing it sudden short bursts of speed, and the ability to leap over many obstacles.

Combat trials have shown that the Thresher's main liability is it's tendency to attract the attention of everything else on the field once it begins firing. Current doctrine dictates that the Thresher wait until the battle is fully joined before opening fire, allowing it to maximize on the confusion.

Armaments:

2 capitol scale PPCs

(shoulder mounted)

2 arm mounted LRM launchers

(6 missiles per arm - total 12)

4 arm mounted light pulse laser clusters

(6 lasers per arm - total 12)

2 shoulder mounted SRM launchers

(25 missiles per shoulder - total 50)

1 chest mounted Gatling cannon

(center chest directly under pilot)

last couple shots before I do some glamour and group photos later this week. pretty pleased with how it's come out but may add some livery

I always thought the Uziel had a great combination of firepower and mobility. The infantryman with the SRM launcher is probably thinking the same thing.

I seem to keep returning to the Timber Wolf.

The proportions are not exactly right, hence the "chibi" designation.

Heavy Mech 70 tons

Build from only three sets I picked up recently: 75115 (Death Trooper), 75121 (Poe Dameron), and 42071 (Dozer Compactor) Each was about half off. I was really into the colors of the Dozer, so I made a Battletech-inspired mech with that scheme.

Built from memory, so not entirely accurate to the original inspiration.

I love to pilot this 'Mech in MechWarrior 2, it allows you to close in on the enemy quickly and has an awesome punch at close range.

A more utilitarian variant of previous Exo-Atomospheric Heckler mechsuit builds.

I didn't want to lose the very Titanfall-inspired traits of this mechsuit yet by giving it loader claws, so I instead made it a laser welder as a hand tool. It can still use the less powerful wrist lasers for a similar purpose. Thanks to the windshield instead of the eye of my first Heckler mechsuits, this variant retains the retro Battletech look a little bit as well. With the jetpack thrusters, this mechsuit is designed to help with facility maintenance in low-gravity conditions.

While I wanted some sort of traditional 'construction' hazard yellow trim coloring, I still wanted to keep using light gray as a primary color. Then with trans-light-blue, a new non-military subdivision color scheme was born. All thanks to the prompting of a recent LUG display.

Hi everyone,

This is my custom Lego Vulture or Mad Dog from Mechwarrior and Battletech.

For a closer look, check out my new youtube channel:

I will be posting more custom content to this channel in the future so stay tuned!

The vulture features a opening cockpit with room for one pilot figure as well as articulation everywhere you would expect! The trickiest part of the build is making the legs sturdy enough, but also articulate where they need to.
