Our flat door doesn’t have a number on it (though it has a brass bell puller, which I don’t think has worked for a very, very long time) so I decided to engage in a bit of geekery and make us a number. (It’s darker green than it looks!) I also may or may not have made myself a pair of earrings which look like this on a smaller scale…

This can probably hold my sandwich. Anything else will probably rip the bag.

In this event, the guys use a pitchfork to toss a 20-lb bag up and over a bar. When the bar was raised to 36 feet (!), none of them were able to make it. If they had, it would have been the world record for this event- who knew? The highest toss we saw today was an amazing 34 feet.

Reusable snack bags are great for school lunch, work or trips to the park.

I used some fusible craft interfacing on this one. I don't like the stiffness for a run-about bag, but it will be perfect for holding roving when I spin.

update 2010- This never happened obviously. After coming to an agreement with Lovelife, I bought the selvage denim and brought it to their studio... where it stayed for several months before I finally gave up on them.

I have a design for a new bag that I'd like to try sometime, but not enough time to do it on my own.

This bag is made from embroired satin. Small pockets on the out side and a large pocked in the middle.

5 1/2" diameter 41/2" or 9" high.

I've wanted to crochet myself a bag for a while now.....last night I finally came up with a rough idea how to do it. Fingers crossed it'll end up like a satchel!
