I love my big bag of tricks. It's like the purse from Mary Poppins. It's so big that I think I could fit and umbrella and a coat hanger in it. But I usually just carry books, makeup, planner, ipod, and my nikon...you know, the essentials!

Omega Hilos La Espiga crochet nylon (cream, white, goldenrod, black, & mauve) I patterned the design after three pictures I saw on the web. The crochet method is called Tapestry Crochet". The Tapestry Crochet method uses single crochet while carrying an extra yarn in a different color. I use a graph for a pattern (similar to a cross chart) and changed the color yarns to create the various patterns. I used a graph generator found on the web that uploads a picture and produces a graph.

This is a bag that I made to hold a 3-ring binder with a pocket on the outside to hold other items.

In an attempt to let the world know how committed they are to their footwear line, Chrome announces their Turds For Gold Shoe Exchange. For two days only, Chrome will be slinging a new pair of shoes to anyone that sends them a worn-out pair of kicks.

"There are a lot of great shoe brands out their but few, if any, are made to handle the harsh demands of riding in the city," says Chrome Marketing Director, Matt Sharkey.

“Our shoes are built to hold up under the toughest conditions and are designed 100% to address the needs of the everyday city cyclist. Not only did we want to build a shoe that was durable and functional, but we also paid close attention to overall fit and timeless style."

The exchange begins on Wednesday, March 17 and ends promptly the next day on Thursday, the 18th. Packages must be post marked by 3/18 to qualify and should include a return shipping address and shoe size info.

This bag slouched in all the WRONG places. I still want another bordeaux colored bag to name Brigitte.

double sided bag, two fabrics and lots of fun!

Still have to finish the handles then place them inside the bag before sewing up.

A bag that takes a normal person 1 hour, would take me 3 weeks.

This tiny pouch is just the right size to hold a precious tooth and for the tooth fairy to leave a little surprise in return. Fits perfectly under any pillow!

A new bag! This is called the "Friendship Bag" because there are so many ways that it is friendly! It is cruelty-free, washable, pretty, and just the right size. Add the fact that it is made by hand, and it's a lovely package.
