A Fruit Basket in our dining room for Adam

The first main course to accompany the starter of potato soup and seifilet. The salmon filet is slightly seasoned with warm (not hot!) south-african inspired spices and topped with a mango and avacado salsa, and is accompanied by crisp potato latkes and a lightly dressed salad.

 

This is completely gluten and lactose free meal! A delicious and healthy alternative for those (like myself) that still demand flavour despite some limitations due to allergies.

I love this coat. I might change the buttons but other than that, it's good to go. It is a short coat and I plan on wearing it with knee-hi boots.

Brassica Supperclub. Avacado and tempeh salad. Everything here is vegan.

I can do without the fake crab. The crispy onions are a nice thought but they need to be served fresh.

Of the 20 or more commercial varieties of avocado that we occasionally receive, the late season mexicola or puebla, (a Hass variety,) are the best. Sadly the seed is huge and the flesh is scant. Oil is high and taste is very good.

 

We are lucky to get any variety in the late season. At over $3.00 each it's hardly worth buying very many at a time.

I like tryng to create a picture from at least two seemingly unconnected objects, usually natural with man made. The top of this glass table leg is so well machinened in a fresnel pattern with the stripped pattern of the chair in the background. Contrasted with the nut from an avacado, a most pleasing natural form and colour.

Cucumber and avacado were on the menu today.

I planted a Haas Avocado seed last Summer. The plant is now about 6 feet tall and is starting to branch out nicely.

Niall likes to sit in this tree, it has a hand in the center.

*I had SO much trouble uploading b/c of the new video element!!! Where's my bandwidth????* Anyhoo, we finally broke down and hired a guy to finish painting the kitchen and laundry room. I am so happy!

deli roasted chicken breast - shredded, cheddar/jack cheese - shredded, baby spinach, sliced avacado & sauteed mushrooms. i sauteed the shrooms in olive oil, then added the chicken breast to warm it back up.. added pepper, lemon & lime juice. then put it all together in the tortilla in a hot pan, add the top tortilla and voila.. yuppy chicken quesadillas.

2 cups raw spinach

1 large avacado

2 bananas

1 cup cooked or sprouted red quinoa

4 dried apricots, 1 prune & 4 dates (soaked in warm water)

1 small carrot

1 slice lemon

1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds

1/8 cup raw sesame seeds

1/4 cup unsweetened organic cocoa powder

1 tsp ginger

 

Blend in VitaMix

Put in individual serving cups and chill overnight.

Avacado halves, seasoned with side-salad.

Fresh Ground, all-natural, grain fed, NIMAN RANCH certified premium beef, granished with out signature infusion of caramelized onion small bits of applewood smoked bacan, a blend of gruyere & maytag blue cheeses & topped with baby arugala. Served on a toasted, handcrafted demi-baguette. Preferred temperatuer: medium rare.

Made from Avacado pear and Poplar. The Poplar is a dowel from a hardware store. The Avacado Pear tree was uprooted by Hurricane Irene

i grew it three years ago from a seed after i finished eating the avacado.

it's still living.

20 years from now i will have it's fruit, hopefully.
