This image represents a one-yard repeat of my Spoonflower "Doors and Windows" entry, showing the alley view of a brownstone, where neighbors share clotheslines, kittens, and plant starts. Worked in repeat to look like the back of a single very large building. Please enjoy!

We get the prettiest avacados through our produce co-op. This one was mashed up tonight to top beans and red quinoa. Yum!
One of my favorite snacks is Havarti cheese, avacado, and apple on crackers. It's a must for bringing in new year!
(Paper plate optional. We're CLASSY.)
This was the kid's dinner. I took some barley flour that I've been trying to use up, mixed it with a little canola oil, cornmeal, baking powder, vinegar, water and spices to make a dough. I pressed it into these little oven pans, and filled it with black beans... baked for about 30 minutes at 325 degrees... topped with salsa and avacado. The kids ate up the filling, but were less enthusiastic about the "crust." Oh well... nice try!

He did not like the chunkiness - These three photos are seconds apart. Once mached completely he liked it.
I bought the tuna about a month ago. Stuck it in the freezer.
Took it out Wednesday. Forgot about it Thursday.
Friday, remembered it, but by the time I got home. Forgot again. Saturday, decided if I didn't make this my tuna was gonna rot. Went to Tom Thumb and picked up my goodies for Thanksgiving too.
Got home, whipped it up. Sat down. Ate. Then wondered... wth did I wait this long?!
