Steve and I had to bring an appetizer to Erica and Stu's dinner party on Saturday, and I found the recipe for these on 101 Cookbooks. We even had beluga lentils in our pantry already. These were really easy to make (assembled there) and really good too.

Another shot of the shrimp and grits.
The soup, which I couldn't get a good shot of in the low light of the room, was a 312 Beer and Cheese Soup, with brie, cheddar and manchego, spices and chorizo sausage. It was incredible, nothing like what we expected. Cinnamon is getting the recipe.

Some people love mangoes when they're not ripe....I like it the other way around.......Waiting........for the time it gets ripe enough.....so that it is sweet.....
