Sometime after her marriage to a much older man, Lizbeth began to worry when no baby got started. Tests showed that her husband was "almost" sterile. Several years of prayer and the miracle - a healthy baby boy. He is 22 days old in this picture and is already holding up his head and pushing to get closer to Mommy.
A converging–diverging nozzle is designed to operate with an exit Mach number of M = 2.25. It is fed by a large chamber of oxygen at 15.0 psia and 600°R and exhausts into the room at 14.7 psia. Assuming the losses to be negligible, compute the velocity in the nozzle throat.

If I envy anyone it must be
My grandmother in a long ago
Green summer, who hurried
Between kitchen and orchard on small
Uneducated feet, and took easily
All shining fruits into her eager hands.
That summer I hurried too, wakened
To books and music and circling philosophies.
I sat in the kitchen sorting through volumes of answers
That could not solve the mystery of the trees.
My grandmother stood among her kettles and ladles.
Smiling, in faulty grammar,
She praised my fortune and urged my lofty career:
So to please her I studied - but I will remember always
How she poured confusion out, how she cooled and labeled
All the wild sauces of the brimming year.

Something of a land mark moment for me, and if I had to describe him "Very tall" would be my answer. Though I can’t help but feel I’d made quite possibly the worst first impression imaginable.
You see. I knew he was enroute, and despite the fact that I’d allowed the thought to cross my mind not but ten or fifteen minutes earlier, situations had distracted me, and when I’d noticed the unusually colorful gentleman trailing me, my first thought had not been the one I’d probably been wiser to grasp. I’d first made the mistake of writing him off as the driver of the rig I was in the middle of washing when he first addressed me. It was one of our rigs, and despite the marker I’ve kept with the fleet veterans, there are an awful lot of new faces that pop up from week to week. Still. This fella seemed to know me. And for the life of me I could not figure out how.
For one reason or another, that always bothers me.
We’d exchanged a few words. I’d chuckled. And more words followed. Then there were questions. The sort of questions a driver (fleet or other wise) just really has no business asking, and I began to feel uncomfortable. Even a little agitated. Thoughts of the Canadian we‘d nicknamed “Fell off my dick“ (I‘m not going to dive into the details of how he garnered that nickname just now), a few years back began to flutter through my mind, and for lack of better reasoning, I decided it was time to retreat to the second bay.
When he fallowed me into the second bay, I knew something wasn’t right, and that proverbial eye twitch I occasionally speak of kicked in. This fella seems to know who I am. But I’ll be damned if I know who he is….And I don’t like that.
It wasn’t until after I’d offered my estranged friend the cold shoulder, lost sight of him, and mounted myself comfortably atop the ISX Cummins sported by the rig in bay two, that thoughts like “What was up with that guy?” began to emerge. Then a reasonably intelligent thought finally clawed it’s way to the surface. An image I’d had in my mind, that for reasons I’d not genuinely understood finally, and apparently very lethargically worked there way to the surface. And for some damn reason it seemed important enough to say out loud.
Big money, big money, big money, no whammy, aaaaaaaaaaaand. STOP!
“Ah F***, that was Dana!”
Whether it be via photoshare or blog community, I chat regularly with a lot of folk from many far reaches of the world. And with the exception of a few that I chat with locally, not a single one have I ever met in person. Today. Today I was finally able to met a man I’ve spoken with candidly for a good long while, and yet had never actually met. Today I met Dana. And to me. That makes for an awesome day.

BUT..... Wait there a minute....
We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. We do not charge for our photographs. Our only "cost" is that we request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, VK.com, Vine, Meetup, Tagged, Ask.fm,etc or (2) other websites, blogs, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you must provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us or acknowledge us as the original photographers.

When you click on either of these you will be presented with the option to download the image. Remember just doing a right-click and "save target as" will not work on Flickr.
I want get full resolution, print-quality, copies of these photographs?
If you just need these photographs for online usage then they can be used directly once you respect their Creative Commons license and provide a link back to our Flickr set if you use them. Many people offer payment for our photographs. As stated above we do not charge for these photographs. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would consider paying for their purchase from other photographic providers or in other circumstances we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.
Let's get a bit technical: We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs
We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?
The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.
Above all what Creative Commons aims to do is to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/
I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.
I want to tell people about these great photographs!
Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably http://www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets

Answering to any number of names; Conga ant, bullet ant, 24 hour ant, lesser giant hunting ant, the one thing consistent is the pain they cause. In their natural range from Nicaragua to Paraguay, a single stink is likened to being shot with fiery waves of pain which continue unabated for up to 24hrs. It is no wonder then that a sting by a bullet ant is rated a 4+ on the Schmidt pain index, the highest of any insect. Though apparently some tribes, notably the Satere-Mawe of Brazil have put this dubious benefit to their advantage. They gather up a large number of these ants, up to 100 and then sew them into a glove, stingers facing inwards. This is then presented to a boy of the tribe. In order to graduate to manhood he must don the glove and leave it on for a set period of time without crying out. This process is repeated, sometimes 20 times until the tribe is satisfied and the boy has become a man. Fortunately there are other uses and the poneratoxin is currently being studied in modern medicine as a voltage gated sodium channel inhibitor which blocks synaptic transmission in insects though it acts as a smooth muscle agonist in mammals.
These are the largest of the Ponerine ants achieving lengths of 20-30mm long. They display little variation between castes, workers displaying variation only insofar as a normal distribution curve with no specialization. They make nests at the base of trees and forage on the surrounding trees, climbing into the canopy to search for nectar sources and small invertebrates. If they feel their nest is being threatened they release a musky odor and stridulate from a pair of organs in the thorax.Found during a night hike in Iwokrama rainforest reserve, Guyana.
