What answers do you need from God today?

Yahoo! today announced the launch of Yahoo! Answers in Malaysia. Yahoo! Answers is an online community where people can ask each other questions on any topic, and get answers by sharing knowledge in the form of facts, opinions, and personal experiences.

Yahoo! Answers is a free service, which is available in Malaysia at www.yahoo.com.my by clicking “Answers.” It enables people to ask, answer and discover knowledge from Malaysia, or expand to see all questions and answers from the global community.

Yahoo! distributed tee shirts with the colloquial Malay phrase “Tau Sokmo” (loosely translated as “know it all”) printed on the front.

The Chief Executive's Question and Answer Session on the Policy Address (2018.10.11)

The answers to the previous slide. Note that I went to town on number 3 and took all the way to the 6th derivative of position. The 3rd derivative, the jerk, has physical meaning because quick changes in acceleration can cause things to break or injuries. The 4th, snap (sometimes called jounce) is rarely used but according to the source below was specified for the Hubble telescope. I like the suggestion of these people on usenet for the 4th and 5th and 6th derivatives (snap crackle and pop) but they're pretty much a joke.

Have a question? Come to the Answer Triangle!

The reason it's called "Answer Triangle" is because it's on Aske Street. No joke:

First year students and some faculty gathered in the CFL for a question and answer session with Christina Henriquez, author of The Book of Unknown Americans. September 3, 2015. Photo by: Annie Goodroad

These are questions I get the most so I thought I'd multi-answer them :)

1) The Slytherin necklace was a special jewelry edition when the 2nd movie came out around the world.

It is bought in a local jewelry store but it's not possible to buy it that way anymore.

I've seen a few on Ebay so give it a try there :)

(it is also a badge)

2) The Draco Malfoy tee is from WBShop (!) It was a Xmas gift from my best friend. Here's the link to the HP-part; www.wbshop.com/Harry-Potter/hp,default,sc.html

3) The hairbows I make myself. Most of the time it's sewing but the one above was a bowtie for men at first hehe :) I'll make a tutorial if you want me to ^^

4) Yes, I do smoke. Sadly. I've been smoking since I was 11 years old (22 when writing this) so it's way to long lol.

5) The exotic and "wild" animals in my photographs is of course taken at a zoo and not in the nature (!) haha. I do live in Sweden you know :)

Keep asking if you're wondering about something, no question is stupid ^^

I try to answer all of them.

Belle, subject of the PBS documentary, “My Name is Belle,” is often asked whether she is primarily a writer or a painter. Answer: “When I’m writing, I’m a writer; when I’m painting, I’m a painter.” Born in Taiwan, Belle spent part of her childhood in Japan. At age seven she immigrated to the United States with her family. She attended Stirling University in Scotland, graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in biology but went on to study art at Pasadena Art Center College of Design and the Beijing Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting. She worked and traveled in China for three years and returned to the United States late in 1989 after the Tiananmen Massacre. She returned with gratitude in her heart for the freedom of expression given her in America, certain she would firmly grasp this gift with both hands.

The phone would ring periodically, and every time someone answered it, a different recorded message played. Fun.

A close-up of the motor speed control PCB. The little white dot with a blue stripe in the middle is an NPN silicon transistor, the other transistor (in the heatsink clip) is a PNP germanium type.

In the 1960’s, Russell Barton answered his country’s call and served in the US Navy in Vietnam. Today, his country, and the American Red Cross are helping this veteran and fire evacuee.

Russell joined two neighbors who jumped in a truck and evacuated South Lake Tahoe several days ago, as the Calder Fire raced toward their community.

Now, Russell is staying in the Red Cross shelter set up inside the cavernous Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Russell says, it reminds me of boot camp, but without the bunk beds!”

He has a cot, blankets, food, water and bathroom facilities, but he has other critical needs. That’s where the U.S. government and the Red Cross joined forces.

A team from the Veterans Administration - including a nurse, a pharmacist and a social worker, are helping veterans seeking refuge in the shelter. They brought in supplemental oxygen for Russell, along with prescription medicines, which he was forced to leave behind.

Russell says he is simply grateful for their help. “I’m being treated well.”
