Answer is... By ability, but don't announce it or make it obvious. If you are in the habit of always using small groups to do work you can change group membership to suit the need and situation. No student needs to feel they are in the weak group; they just happen to be in the group you spent more time with today.

Stuart Tolley - Transmission
Occupation:
Founder of Transmission an art direction and graphic design studio. I am also curator of the Life In 2050 exhibition, currently running at the Proud Central Gallery.

What are your influences?
Music is always an influence. Always has been, always will be. I tend to change styles after exploring them for a number of years. It’s the same with graphic design. I like to experiment with styles and not get stuck or typecast. That is what keeps me inspired.
Current projects:
I am currently the curator of the Life In 2050 exhibition, which runs until the 4th May. That has been a massive and very exciting project. I am also art directing an independent film magazine, designing several book covers for a number of different clients and working on a coffee table book the charity CARE international. I will also be submitting some screen-printed art work to the A-B exhibition taking place at the Boxbird gallery in early May.
Discography?
Currently, it’s all about Flying Lotus and Fuck Buttons. They are both amazing and very different. Nick Cave is always good.
Interests?
The usual independent cultural references, such as music, film, design and photography. I also have an old VW campervan, so travel and generally being by the sea are an inspiration.
Latest book read?
The last one was Nick Caves ‘The Death of Bunny Monroe’
Latest album brought/downloaded?
I always buy albums. I like to collect the artwork; again it goes back to my long interest in the independent music industry. People work hard for very little money when designing for the music industry and I like to keep the originals. The last was the Gonjasufi album.
Word of the day?
Chicken. Especially at lunch-time.
Future aspirations?
To develop Transmission and to eventually work anywhere in the world. On a beach, would be good.
Advice for beginners?
Work hard and create a foundation from which to grow. Don’t get stuck in a job you hate and take risks.
This is the face I make when I have to leave Hawaii and come back to Pennsylvania.
This is the face I make when our connecting flight out of LAX is actually:
a) At a gate called "TRM1" that no employee of the airport actually seems to know how to locate, or where it exists (correct answer: it is "Terminal One;" wrong answer: "That doesn't exist.") I asked one security officer, and he was enough of a dickbrain to make me take him over to the departures board, and actually stand on my tippy-toes and point to the gate that he swore didn't exist -- at which point, after showing him, he continued to swear it didn't exist. Nice work, sir. Nice work.
b) Literally at a gate on the other side of the airport from where we've landed, meaning to get there we have to take a bus that isn't there or we have to run outside, across traffic, with bags and inappropriate running shoes (we chose the latter). We tried to hop a bus at one point, and the guy closed the door on Michelle's arm, which, had I the time, I would have closed my fist on his trachea. You know the one person who actually told us where to go successfully? Some old black dude running a "Speedy Shuttle" service, waiting for passengers but finding none. He was very nice, and very helpful, and was the one helpful person at LAX.
c) Leaving a half-hour earlier than what is printed on the tickets. This means: no dinner, no bathroom breaks, no nothing but the running. And, since I have a cold, running across an airport and outside an airport was like a punch to my lungs. So, by the time we actually reached our gate, we literally had 60 seconds before they were closing up shop -- flight was leaving at 10:20 (our tickets said 10:50), and we arrived at 10:19. They told us to hurry, or they were shutting us out. Even though we could see the door.
d) Not even a United flight, but a U.S. Airways flight (we had been on all United flights up until this point) -- now, United's no pearl, but going from United to U.S. Airways is like leaving a cloud of stinging gnats and diving into a pool of starving piranha. Certainly no more pleasant, but a lot less pleasant. Oh, and we had to reenter the security checkpoints, which was staffed by two people who took plenty of time out of our day to opine that they needed more people (the complaining alone took them several minutes).
e) A craptacular flight through-and-through. U.S. Airways is kind enough to charge you for all amenities (including water -- hey, two bucks for a crappy small bottle of water, super, thanks, jerkwads). Plus, it was hot. Plus, it was cramped. Plus, it was bumpy. For five hours. Overnight. No sleep. No sleep. Nooo sleeeeep.
f) Not planning on bringing our luggage with us to Pennsylvania. We get there, and I knew the luggage could not have made it, since we had to bolt across the airport -- and, last I checked, luggage handlers were basically genetically-mutated human-sloth hybrids, and also I was pretty sure our luggage did not develop legs and brains and self-evolved rocket engines to get to our plane. So, no luggage. It showed up last night at 12:30 AM, which was great fun when we were trying to get that sleep we were unable to get.

(Incidentally, this is also a roach from Hawaii, so he's a genuine aloha-mahala-kokua-hangloosebrah roach, living a far better life than us Upper-48ers. That being said, Hawaii has many a roach.)
U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill listened to ideas and concerns, and answered questions from Missourians today at a public town hall meeting in Hillsboro—kicking off the first of eight public town halls she is holding across the Show-Me state this week.
McCaskill has hosted public town hall meetings in Missouri throughout her time in the U.S. Senate.
“One of the most important parts of my job is listening to Missourians about their ideas and concerns, getting their input, and holding myself accountable face-to-face,” said McCaskill, who grew up in rural Missouri. “I wanted the folks at today’s town hall, and across the state, to know that the people they elected to represent them truly hear them, and stand ready to take their ideas to Washington on how to better tackle the opioid crisis in our state, educate our kids, ensure Missourians have access to affordable health insurance, and bring down the high cost of prescription drugs.”
McCaskill is hosting eight public town halls this week in Buchanan County, Callaway County, Greene County, Jefferson County, Marion County, New Madrid County, Phelps County, and Platte County.
Public town halls with Missourians have been a hallmark of McCaskill’s time in the Senate, including tours across the state. During debate over the Affordable Care Act—at a time of heightened demonstrations against the law—McCaskill held a series of highly publicized town halls, including in traditionally conservative areas of Missouri, to hear directly from Missourians about their concerns and respond to criticisms. In 2014, McCaskill logged more than 1,000 miles around the state on her “McCaskill on Main Street” series of public town halls.
McCaskill has also toured the state with town halls aimed at military veterans and seniors—and has hosted individual town halls, such as one she hosted last year with then-U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack focused on the opioid epidemic.

This is a photograph from the 1st round of the 2016 Pat Finnerty Memorial 5KM Road League which was held in Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 4th May 2016 at 20:00. The Road League is promoted and organised by Mulligar Harriers Athletic Club. It is very well established as an annual event which takes place on every Wednesday night in the month of May. Tonight the weather was dull and overcast but mild making for very good running conditions. About 250 participants took part in the race which runs a traffic free course over a mix of road and hilly forest trail.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
