Amuse Bouche

.

Peller Estates Winery & Restaurant . May 13, 2007

Naomi reading text from a close friend that amused her a great deal - she and her friend love to tell each other jokes. This was at a restaurant in downtown Sapporo, probably in 2019 or 2020.

Soya milk and aubergibe and other things. Suprisingly tasty.

I was amused and entertained by this dog for 30 minutes one day as I sat and watched him play with this bull.

This is at Stewart Ranch in Napa, California. I stopped the car to take some shots of the famous "oreo" cows, when I noticed the dog sitting at the top of the hill. I whistled for him to come to me, and to my surprise, he came. He crawled under the fence and jumped up on me and frolicked for several minutes while I petted him. I then motioned with my arm for him to "go back home" and he immediately crawled back under the fence and went straight up to bull and sat down. There was no rancher giving commands, but he started "herding" the cow, barking at it and making it get up and move. He would get real intense, and then go into a frenzy of herding activity, for no apparent reason, eventually bringing the bull down to me. I could swear he was playing and "hamming it up" for me the whole time. I got great enjoyment out of it.

Check out the other photos, they're all next to each other in my photostream.

Or, as my son would (and did) say: "Seriously?"
