Set in a prehistoric alien world known as Zurivon. Apart of my 3rd entry for the MocOlympics - www.mocpages.com/moc.php/291293
As it was snowing, we got really cold and wet while hiking. We could hardy wait to get to some warm place, as we found a nice little traditional restaurant, and in front of the restaurant: this one here!
This MOC was intended for the preliminary round of the 2017 Bio-Cup contest here on Flickr, the prompt for which was to re-imagine a Lego set in Bionicle form. I've always thought some of the coolest System sets were from Mars Mission, and the Alien Infiltrator already has sort of a humanoid silhouette, so that was a natural choice for me. Unfortunately I was too busy to finish it in time for the contest, but I still definitely wanted to finish and post it at some point. Enjoy!
Aliens have landed in an abandoned sand pit last night - beware!
This is another experimental lightpainting with torches - i love this stuff..
The exposure time for this one was around 10 minutes.

The Underground Gun Shop Bunker is build to show the weapon collection, and every kind of weapon got his own stage.
There are in total eight stages down, from the bunker complex it self, and the only way to reach the underground stages is by elevator.
Stage -1 Hand Guns and shooting range.
Stage -2 Classic Weapons.
Stage -3 World War II Weapons.
Stage -4 Star Wars and Aliens or Halo (S.F.) Weapons.
Stage -5 ShotGuns and Sniper Rifles.
Stage -6 Submachine Guns and AK-47.
Stage -7 Assault Rifles.
Stage -8 Heavy Machine Guns/Big Guns and Missiles/Grenade Launcers and Hand Grenades.
There is also a safe on the eight floor (stage -8) with the more expensive weapons and armor and some of those are real copper, silver and gold plated.
Above the safe comes the part that is construct in the color old gray.
Stage -7 Swords Hall.
Stage -6 Knives Hall.
Stage -5 Axe Hall.
Stage -4 Spear Hall.
Stage -3 Classic Armor Hall.
Stage -2 Modern Armor Hall.
The building project is still not done, because on the moment i dont got parts anymore for the bunker complex it self and the elevator.
This project was not be possible without gebruiktlego.nl (used lego) - RIBW
I'm also did some orders on Bricklink.
The whole complex is some 150 cm high and it's gonna be a little bit higher.
There were also used more than 15.000 parts.
And i spent more than 1000 Euros on it.

This amazing custom Alien Xenomorph minifigure was made by Richard Goff - I only applied a coat vinyl dye to color it black. I have to say this is an outstanding work of art and all of the intricate details in the sculpting and design are incredible.
The wreck of an old car dumped in floodwaters. Really still water and clear reflections. Same shot as previous shot but rotated anticlockwise. Thanks to Cecilia Temperli for idea.
Double habitat for some cool minifigures from the LEGO CMF series 6. Alien and Sleepyhead. Check out the video down here for the tutorial: youtu.be/TrGSXZxEECE
We may be close to Area 51, but even without that, Nevada, and the California border can look quite Alien. Three shots from the Valley of Fire, and one from Rhyolite Ghost Town
These morning reflections really inspired me doing something abstract and textured.
I see two faces, the other looks a bit alien for me. What you can see?

This is another in a series of out-of-your-normal-tribute skies. I am out at the McIntosh Lake Loop and while I have never seen a UFO, imagine my surprise at seeing this Klingon war bird right here! Talk about seeing characters in the clouds, "Seldom Scene" are clouds from the annals of Star Trek. Egad, right here ate Mac Lake? I am sure NCAR in Boulder could have an explanation for this like for alien lenticulars. I am assuming that NCAR was not already shredded by the Orange Empire for their research into atmospherics! The Uber-Right is even skeptical about having to breathe the atmospherics themselves as long as the Kochs furnish them with gas masks. This atmosphere is declaring war!
At least I was able to snag this . Why I could capture this scruffy January sky with my tele-zoom does not even ring a bell at this point. That could not have been a cold January day. Sheesh, it's already over 90 orange degrees before 11AM right now, somebody pour me into that January day in my tee shirt back then. The forecast for tomorrow is a bitch puppy, a real Pruett Parade! Maybe I can reach him in his private Koch Brothers phone booth to complain.
I wandered out west from Dawson Park at McIntosh Lake on the loop trail for exercise in the afternoon and found this willy nilly sky. It was another abnormal January Orange Hair day. The day is going to be about as Stormy as the orange mob boss's dance card.
Mac Lake is always a good spot for a walk. I get out there a few times each month... after splapping my sleepy bum. I hoped to bail more with the final advent of spring this year. All the Colorado newbies complain about the down turns with panic warnings. I am panicked about the extensive over-paving and over-warming of Largemont.
This is part of a larger sci-fi installation at Rails on the Rockies in Estes Park this weekend with CoWLUG. The hover vehicles are from sets that I just removed the wheels from to replace with trans dishes. Turned out pretty cool.
