Find many mechanical details and trans-dark blue eerie highlights spread into the organic shaping of this massive 6 foot long alien spaceship! The vintage windows are some of my favorite parts in this build, as well as the 2x2 curved sand green slope! Now what if this huge SHIP could FLY...
My entry to the Vignette category in the 3rd annual Lego Speeder Bikes Contest.
Here is a picture of the bikes by themselves: www.flickr.com/photos/65992320@N05/6479370743/in/photostream
A MFZ-ish scale mech/alien mostly using the Galaxy Squad alien colours. He has wings that fold out too!
Shot of my NECA Aliens figures. Wanted only a couple in this shot to get more of the Hadley's Hope sign that came with the Burke/Xenomorph two pack.
I don't have much room to do these shots properly, but I enjoy doing them.
Some photoshop adjustments in brightness/contrast, colour balance, & film grain.
As it was snowing, we got really cold and wet while hiking. We could hardy wait to get to some warm place, as we found a nice little traditional restaurant, and in front of the restaurant: this one here!

That many, many people believe aliens crashed 30 miles from Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947. To me, that fact of so many believers is far stranger than fiction. This is the floor of the elevator in our hotel. The town embraces the UFO enthusiasts and skeptics alike to stay here and spend money!
ODC: truth is stranger than fiction
Official US Government reports in recent years have confirmed the belief, common in the 1950s, that UFOs are flying around in the skies. Above I present evidence that aliens may have disembarked from a UFO and adopted Christmas disguises to in a brazen attempt to blend into the local population over the holiday season when peoples' guards are down and earthlings are feeling goodwill to all "mankind" or if you prefer our Prime Minister's politically correct wording, goodwill to "peoplekind."
slowly grasp the end of the tube is it going to be a fight or flee situation or just walk off and take a pic of something else
A new definition of UFO...Unidentified FLORAL object!? Actually this tiny single blossom from my spiderwort plant landed perfectly on a hosta leaf from my garden!
Alien story made for the display "Space Panic" at the french convention Brick à Dole 2017.
No display "Space Panic" without... Panic ^_^
A wink at the mythical movie monster... Alien ! Reinterpretation of some of the cult scenes of Alien movies.
Of course on this display as in space, no one can hear you scream...

This MOC was intended for the preliminary round of the 2017 Bio-Cup contest here on Flickr, the prompt for which was to re-imagine a Lego set in Bionicle form. I've always thought some of the coolest System sets were from Mars Mission, and the Alien Infiltrator already has sort of a humanoid silhouette, so that was a natural choice for me. Unfortunately I was too busy to finish it in time for the contest, but I still definitely wanted to finish and post it at some point. Enjoy!
This is another in a series of out-of-your-normal-tribute skies. I am out at the McIntosh Lake Loop and while I have never seen a UFO, imagine my surprise at seeing this Klingon war bird right here! Talk about seeing characters in the clouds, "Seldom Scene" are clouds from the annals of Star Trek. Egad, right here ate Mac Lake? I am sure NCAR in Boulder could have an explanation for this like for alien lenticulars. I am assuming that NCAR was not already shredded by the Orange Empire for their research into atmospherics! The Uber-Right is even skeptical about having to breathe the atmospherics themselves as long as the Kochs furnish them with gas masks. This atmosphere is declaring war!
At least I was able to snag this . Why I could capture this scruffy January sky with my tele-zoom does not even ring a bell at this point. That could not have been a cold January day. Sheesh, it's already over 90 orange degrees before 11AM right now, somebody pour me into that January day in my tee shirt back then. The forecast for tomorrow is a bitch puppy, a real Pruett Parade! Maybe I can reach him in his private Koch Brothers phone booth to complain.
I wandered out west from Dawson Park at McIntosh Lake on the loop trail for exercise in the afternoon and found this willy nilly sky. It was another abnormal January Orange Hair day. The day is going to be about as Stormy as the orange mob boss's dance card.
Mac Lake is always a good spot for a walk. I get out there a few times each month... after splapping my sleepy bum. I hoped to bail more with the final advent of spring this year. All the Colorado newbies complain about the down turns with panic warnings. I am panicked about the extensive over-paving and over-warming of Largemont.
Just messin' around.
Not 100% sure if I like it or not.
I wasn't planning on posting this. It was just okay so I messed with it a little.
Explored! September 4th, 2009. #89!
Jumping spider cleaning itself from sticky pollen balls.
Single shot, reversed 50 mm lens on a set of extension tubes.
The wreck of an old car dumped in floodwaters. Really still water and clear reflections. Same shot as previous shot but rotated anticlockwise. Thanks to Cecilia Temperli for idea.
