Another shot done with the 400mm from far far away, and again, the sensation of something "alien". The place looks more shot in a movie of Ridley Scott, than in the italian mountains.
Kaikoura's shoreline is a wonderland of rock formations, the sunrise burned the sky for a long time which allowed me to capture several different compositions. Long exposure at low tide.

Will we recognize alien life forms or not even realize their existence?
Thank you for your comments & faves. I can no longer return the same to everyone due to my fibromyalgia: I will do my best!
Lighting the rugged and surreal territory around the Alien Throne in the Valley of Dreams is an unforgettably intense experience. Only few people end up there and at night you are completely alone while you illuminate the stage for your photography.
"...the sea is now at the worst levels for alien matter it has ever seen, with jellyfish blooms becoming more common as the sea warms up..."

I took a sound-bite from the news as my theme and played with metaphors. SOMNIUM's Giger outfit is an awesome work of art and nod to the great science fiction artist himself and is designed so you can mod it to your heart's content. I recommend using Nefekalum's 'What We've Done' arm tattoos as they work well with the Somnium set and have materials to catch the light and give an additional depth to the outfit. Finish the look with claws from L'Emporio and a tail from Naberious to have that complete alien edge that Giger was so fond of drawing, and of course the outfit comes in different colours so you can let your imagination flow.

Unbelievable details in this blossom. You can not see this with your eyes. It looks so fluffy and soft, but extremely fragile when you zoom in!
Please comment if you like it!
What is this? A macro-landscape photography? ;-)
Have a great Crazy Tuesday, dear Flickr friends! ;-)
I like mists, they add mystery to any view. And I like the transformation of the well known places into something you see for the first time. The building that you've passed many times before looks like an aliens' space ship. Can't wait until any distortion of the reality in our heads will be blown away:-)
The picture from the center of the city in the early autumn morning.
Thank you for all the comments and faves, my friends. Stay safe!
Wildly at odds with common theories, I get very frustrated by so called experts who apply their nuts and bolts, 3 dimensional, five sense realm of experience and perspective toward allocating an allowed bigotry toward the comprehension of aliens, alien technology and whether or not we are truly "alone" in the universe. Yet when one is in consideration of such things, we arrive at the same dead end, you decide, ostentatious knee jerking condemnation of anything outside of those common theories.
Having experienced a massive awakening, that's awake not woke, (woke being the Millennial cry baby cancel culture, of those barely turning over in their sleep) I started to research information closely or directly involved in Esotericism, the ancient knowledge that the Vatican has tried its damndest to cover up. When one considers the ruins of ancient times, it is obvious as to why we have so apparently never been "visited".
Because we only "think" we haven't, we were, many eons ago, we were frankly invaded, kidnapped, manipulated and spat out again as a far dimmer version than what we once were. I have said to a few people now, not that I am some kind of all knowing oracle, Socrates would agree with me there, that the reason we think Aliens haven't come here, is because we are already there. The Human race in its present flesh and bone form, always has been.
I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)
PS: Zoom in! ;)

Macro Mondays - Pareidolia
L'ho trovata in riva al mare. Sembra un pezzetto di roccia, ma penso che sia una vecchia conchiglia.
I found it by the sea. It looks like a piece of rock, but I think it's an old shell.
The super weird hoodoo Alien Throne in the De Na Zin / Bisti Badlands wilderness area of New Mexico. Some really incredible and strange hoodoos in this little spot.
Title sums this seed pod up I think. So just what could it be??? They are real and about an inch long. They are an invasive species and I found these along the Hudson River in New York State. This image seems to have remained dormant waiting for just such a venue as this weeks Happy Macro Monday theme, Seeds - HMM!! Well that didn't work out, the group closed at 8:00 PM ET WTF....
